Why take people out of t4 by adding gear and RR gain pots in t2/t3? Why is so much being added to a lower tier that most people just power level out of? It makes absolutely no sense! Killing RvR in t4 because some lowbies want to get t3 inf gear, that they will get rid f as soon as they get into t4.
T2/t3 are boring. Zerg a zone in 10 minutes, fly to another, do it again, and again in a third, rinse and repeat, till bored, log on to other realm, and do it all over again.
I still have no clue why this much attention i being paid to lowbies?

Do you have no clue because you're ignorant to the many responses staff have given you on the matter? We don't want vast stretches of dead zones, so we're putting in things that might have players revisit those zones and spur activity. If you're so averse to T3, then don't do it. You simply won't receive those rewards in T4.drmordread wrote:Why take people out of t4 by adding gear and RR gain pots in t2/t3? There are plenty of players that would rather do RvR than grind mobs to reach T4, and this activity is what we encourage through nerfs in grinding and rewards in RvR. It's not some big secret that we just recently unveiled.

Actually I must say it is damn fun. Always fights. Small scale groups, max 12 people in a band, quick access to items, and quick maps. The best fun I had was before T4 was released, with my guildies, and I am having it now again. The one side zerg is a major problem of T4, which I'm glad not to have anymore. Before the restart today in t3 dwarves was MAYHEM.
Started new toons and enjoying a lot

you cannot know this. there are plenty of us that enjoy the lower tiers, and you need that buffer to ease new players indrmordread wrote:Why is so much being added to a lower tier that most people just power level out of?
there is nothing more miserable than a 40/3 in t4. untrained and completely disconnected from the toon. t3 is great
Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
Personally like the lower level zones more, some castles only have 1 gate and things move a lot quicker. Would be nice to do those zones on a t4 char more seamlessly.

Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
I can't speak for everyone, but I actually really enjoy T3. I never did it before because there was no material reward for doing t3, until now. So thanks DEVs!
That said, I would MUCH prefer a convenience system to the current one (if possible).. So we didn't have to respec Mastery, renown and take off tons of gear only to miss a pocket BL item and get chickened, etc. It's a bit of a hassle rather than just plopping down into a zone and having fun.
I wouldn't say scrap the current system. Nor do I feel weak running around on "twink gear" ... but Id LOVE a system where it just shaved all your stats in half or something and let you play that way... like a reverse bolster... a lvl X player gets bolstered UP, im.sure there is a way to engineer that for 40s going down to a zone to make you an appropriate level.... you can red out skills like you do now, and yeah, some people will have added Mastery but IDK... seems there could be a convenient way to do it, without making you spend a ton of time to meet specific conditions.... Just my 2 cents.

Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
I would suggest maybe reducing the respec cost? Tons of RVR action going on in T4 and T2-3. But most people aren't like me and having endless gold because I know how to farm things... I actually make an effort to give out hundreds/thousands of gold every week in raw currency/items to help people not have to grind stuff so they can just play.
Would it be possible to maybe set it to 2.50? It is still not cheap, but would actually give someone 2x the amount of respects that they currently have available
(didn't wanna make a new thread so throwing it on here).

Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
You speak like someone who power-leveled through the lower tiers without having a clue. I am quite sure that T4 won't die because of it and you will hardly notice if one warband less is zerging through T4, I mean, there are already too many in one zone.drmordread wrote:Why take people out of t4 by adding gear and RR gain pots in t2/t3? Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
I think it would be better to implement a possibility for players to save one spec for t1 and one for mid tier, for instance per chat command (.save lowspec/midspec or something like that). Whenever the player is flagged for PvP in a lower tier and is meeting the gear requirements, the according spec will be loaded. Maybe another command (e.g. .check lowspec/midspec) could be used to see the current specs.freshour wrote: Would it be possible to maybe set it to 2.50? Re: What Prevents players from debolstering?
I've said it and I'll keep saying it. One day a week/every two weeks, create a renown/conq medallion increase in the mid tier for 12 hours to encourage debolster fun on a mass scale in the nearly un played maps.
