i only today joined t2/3 with my alt and had a lot of fun...there were a lot of ppl playing and nice sc pop aswell
dunno if this was just a bcs its sunday and much less ppl play during the week bcs i haven been in lower tiers for months
xp boost was made bcs population was abysmal at the time, i would really like the lower tiers would be alive rather than xp boosting

A command line to turn it on/off would be amazing. How about turning it on for me and my kids that just started playing again? We want to grind our old Live toons all to 40 but don't want to die trying with the way T2/T3 is right now.. LOLJaycub wrote:^devs won't take any money for any reason because of legal troubles.
@Az is it possible to add a command to allow t2/3 players to multiply their experience gains? That would be best of both worlds. IF people want to take it slow and enjoy T3 they can, if people are playing during dead times(seems like most of the time tbh) and want to get to t4 asap they can.
I created a poll on this subject..

the issue with even implementing a command to get the xp boost back is that you lessen the "worth" of the content in t2/t3.
And implementing a command will probably end with it being pretty much mandatory I imagine as then it will be deserted of people once more (a few using the command would push more and more to use it)

So the desire is to go back to having T2/3 totally empty as people powerlevel their way through.
Free candy for everyone. That should make for engaging and interesting gameplay. Love grinding rats for a few hours and more RR12's in T4.
"How do I get out of T2/3 as fast as possible?" should really be asked, "What do I need so T2/3 is desirable to play?"

But what's the point of playing in t2/t3 if its just the same thing. There's nothing different, or rewarding about it. If players are here just for keep raids then of course they'll sprint to T4, because T4 just takes over anyway.
Maybe if players had an incentive, they'd be interested in fighting in t2/t3.

How long? Never.Kobra wrote: Same thing here.. How long before new T4 guys learn to play? One week? Two? This isn't rocket science...
90% in higher tiers play like fresh T1 starters.
Dying is no option.
Re: Recently back - T2/3 is... Terrible.
T3 has no different keep sieges than T4. The power gaps are just smaller in lower tiers due to bolster. A r40 in **** gear and low rr isn't buffed any further.CzarRedwall wrote:But what's the point of playing in t2/t3 if its just the same thing. There's nothing different, or rewarding about it. One could ask, what is so different in T4 that people rush there?

Re: Recently back - T2/3 is... Terrible.
The answer is more players, but that's not gonna fix itself anytime soon. And the problem compounds because new players see it's dead and nothing takes root.wargrimnir wrote: "How do I get out of T2/3 as fast as possible?" should really be asked, "What do I need so T2/3 is desirable to play?"
I don't know what could bring more people in those tiers, PvE is progressing along nicely but still has a way to go and that will help. More people playing in general should also mean more people in this tiers as well. But should remember on live t2 was a ghost town with thousands of players, and T3 was only alive because people used it as an escape from huge power creep in t4.
There is nothing technically wrong with T2-3, I'd actually enjoy playing it. But when I go there and it takes 30 minutes for an sc pop and there is like not even half a wb in the lakes it's just 0 fun.

Many of us have seen the T2/T3 content, ad nauseam, from live and don't want to revisit it again. I'm here to fight. The best fights are T1 Fest, and T4 SC/RVR.. Even in live T2/T3 wasn't where it was at. I don't expect that to change here anytime soon unless the population skyrockets.Natherul wrote:the issue with even implementing a command to get the xp boost back is that you lessen the "worth" of the content in t2/t3.

Also, everyone rolls alts.. What 'worth' do they get repeating the same stuff? Do it once, and you should be good. People that want to explore the chapters and lore are free to explore T2/T3, but I think if you really looked at your players you'd find the vast majority are not interest in it. I did some chapters in T2/T3 a bit to see if the exp was any good and never ran into anyone else doing them.

Constructive posts would be helpful.
Pretty sure we all know what the problem is. We all know that x3 XP has been presented as a "fix", although it really doesn't address the problem.
Get creative. It's not like x3 XP is the only thing we're capable of.
