To avoid creating separate topics i'd like to ask question here if you don't mind:
I have played Mara+Magus and RP a lot on official servers (all were RR70+) - loved them all.

When started playing RoR recently, noticed that Maguses/Engineers are very popular thanks to the buffs, so i decided to focus on Mara/Zealot (i try to keep both at the same Tier, so i can switch from DD to Healer if warbands lack them).
Suddenly i realized that i would like to try out 2H IB (full s&b tank is not for me, so i consider only 2H option) instead of Mara (and RP instead of Zealot which is obvious), so can you please answers few questions below:

1. Who is more useful and needed in T4: Marauder (i like both Sav+Brut or Monstro AP drain specs in lakes) or 2H IB?
2. Since i have never played IB after T2, question to those who played both a lot: who is more fun in terms of gameplay and why? Mostly in SCs and RvR small roaming groups?
3. How is the situation with healers in T4 in general? Maybe i should focus RP/Zealot instead of going Mara/IB? What is needed more: healers or MDDs? I heard Order lacks MDDs - is that true?

There's some empire only guild/RP guilds on top of the standard guilds. Simply check the guild forums, maybe you can find something that satisfies your heretic slaying needs!

Guess that's fine. Since you played the game before I'm pretty sure you know the drill already, but here I go:

1. As to who and what is most useful currently, that is always a question that can't be answered for it's different for each and every guild/group/time slot. Strictly speaking a standard MDPS is always more needed than a 2H tank that is a bit off meta, but premades can make it work regardless. It's better to simply stick to what you enjoy and are good at, since then you will get picked even for subpar compositions

2. To me, they are a blast and can even solo reliably and are a good pug class, but again, fun is very subjective. If you like the style of DPS tanks, they are a very good choice. All I can say to you is: Simply try one. Game is free and in the worst case, all you'll lose is free time.

3. Order doesn't lack healers, but is very heavy on WPs (So is destro regarding DoKs) so more RPs are welcome I reckon. It is true that order is RDPS heavy, but as mentioned in point 1, it shouldn't matter what the others do. You want to play MDPS? Great, go for it! Want to play Engineer number 45 692? Fine, also.

Simply check out our forum thread or contact Lesti, Noergl, Drengk and Co. ingame. Just a headsup: We are EU focused, so it's
advantageous if you can play in our time slot. One event a week, rest is casually pugging. Big guild, big alliance, always someone to help out even during NA times though.

Im thinking about slayer too, how active in eu time is your guild?

For this server's standard, very. 10-15 people online every night, adding the alliance 30-50, easily. During Thursday's event we
almost never have problems fielding a full warband of angry dawi. Just search for our Forum Thread for more info and videos.
Any further questions, you can ask over there to keep this thread clean(although it already became a mess ).

While I have melee classes, being NA player, I tend to survive more as ranged, maybe because od ping rate,

Also we need a lot more NA time zone players.
