Tourqumada,
What is your rotation for ew build stat priority.
Also cool name as you were in Spanish inquisition.
Might look to change my 1 3 build to something new to keep it interesting.
Thanks

I just wanted to say, when someone is already faced away from you and/or cc'ed theres no need in absolution.Torquemadra wrote: and torment should only be used when behind someone.

Which is something quite different from "remove abso from your bar". Anyway, Torq explained why a WH should use finishers whenever it's possible.Atropik wrote: Well, if someoneAtropik wrote:I just wanted to say, when someone is already faced away from you and/or cc'ed theres no need in absolution.Torquemadra wrote: and torment should only be used when behind someone.

I'd second running a duo, you'll enjoy the class a lot more.
Re: [WH] Need some serious help soloing
And I would argue that is one of the hardest aspects of a WH to master. Apart from the 1v1 "WH gets the opening scenario" figuring out when to sacrifice 1-2 accusations just to get the bullet damage in for the burst/bullet debuff and when to hold on to the accusations for a bigger delayed burst is possibly where the mastery of the career lies. That and the fact that it's a MDPS career with poor mobility and stealth is meh in group play.Torquemadra wrote:WH and WE rotations are very separate, WE kisses proc on anything (25%), WH only on finishers (100%), WE has a crit tactic which makes it beneficial to hold onto accusation points (Frenzied Mayhem) WH do not, if you arent firing finishers as a WH you are not utilizing the mechanics and only spending accusations on BAL is a poor cycle and torment should only be used when behind someone.
At least that's what I'm struggling with as a newbie WH. :p

The advice was "Remove abso from your rotation cause its strongly situational". And when the situation comes, absolution is awesome, i have no doubt.kryss wrote: Which is something quite different from "remove abso from your bar". Too late, Cindy is also annoying. Unless Cindy and Nicelook are the same?

Re: [WH] Need some serious help soloing
FA is great *WHEN* it fires, its only 50%, so I find it equally enjoyable and frustrating. I'm still not sold on it 100% because of this but im testing it more at the moment.
As this is for running solo (original post), I ran this spec for rr40-48 (currently 48, experimenting a bit more, trying some of Krys' sugestions):
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=wh; ... 5:;0:0:0:0:
At which point you have choices, either use the defensive skills (repel and shroud) as escape tools (and a bit of dmg enhancement with riposte) and stack crit. Casters and healers (bar heal spec doks), ini debuff for former, heal debuff for latter are you bread and butter. Melee is a more even fight but you should have tools to escape.
Or use defensive skills to enhance your damage, stack parry (you can get up to 69% on wh) and then use shroud + vindication and flanking to aid your damage against casters (good healers will out heal your burst now). Melee become your bread and butter but you may still lose to WE's that are also parry / kiss heal proc specced like Valda.
Things to note for survivability:
1. As your not a burst class, you can survive with less str than you think.
2. Shroud of magnus is under rated, ive lost count of the number of times this has enabled me to escape in open warfare after taking someone down. Using it with vindication is great.
3. Resolute defence is a must.
4. Tactic swapping is a must, 4 tactics specific to caster or melee, depending on what you choose above there are slight variations on a theme to choose.
5. Dont underestimate ini, encounters are won, generally, if you get the drop first, this stat enhances your stealth.
6. If you stack parry, dont become lazy on positional play during a fight (something I can definitely improve on, parry plus a WL main has made me lazy on this!)
Only people I'm tending to struggle with are heal spec docs (though if you used the debuff skill you might not, their aoe detaunt is a bitch), parry/kisses heal procing WE's like Valda and to a lesser extent Tlit, some times def spec tanks but thats usually more down to the amount of time they take (and adds turning up). Nicelook is also good but our fights are fairly even (and shes right, abso is situational).
I think people are playing up FA a bit, but im going to carry on testing it. Also find abso slow to fire at times, it seems easy for a target to get in close, which can prevent it firing, or theres a delay with the animation. Is anyone else finding this? Ive not thoroughly tested it, just an impression.
Emasculated.
