May i ask why this change happened to engie range and not to magus?
Surely the whole flaming of OP engies cant be the deciding factor. I just would like to know the reason behind this decision if possible.

Well we got nerfed position of Shadow Sting.
Then Enchanted Arrows.
SWs became just LS bitchez. Now they lost half of it.
Well #pray4sw and keep faith that some day they will get something and stop being inferior rdps

I think it is due to the fact that the Engineer rotation requires very little 'ramp-up' time compared to the Magus version, i.e. you can simply Snipe and gunblast with hollowpoints tactic vs squishies and kill them whereas a Magus can not kill anything with BoC alone. Also due to the Engineer's M3. That's my understanding anyway, though I do agree that people have been whining a lot about it, some of it unjustified and down to to one's inability (or, rather, flat-out refusal) to counter these new changes.

I like these changes!
These was some of the problems I was raging about on IRC last night.
Cannon damage and the slow penalty affecting attacking cannons to.
The keep with no BOs not dropping the starts or the supply meter fast enough.
Now hopefully the WLs can't pounce back in air directly after you have knocked them away. Rather they have to wait until they have landed.
I wonder if we will see a drop in engineer play from this change to.

Haha IKR. The lack of an aoe ele debuff is a factor. But it will be nice fluff damage/situational usage in keep defences for leeching KBs.

Back near release...it was an amazing ability. But it has been fluff for a long time...I can't say I agree with these changes but I'll continue to play my gimp class and enjoy it.

Snare everything , kite forever , debuff every resist
Add sorc for even more synergy
