What's the point of masking armory?

maybe it could be a mistake; elsewhere typing /anon you let your pg to not appear in the online users list, here it has a completely different effect.

I guess I need to politely speak up when I am lurking gear, But in battle sometimes a decent conversation is hard to have. Time is money and all right.
