As for the names, I don't see how that's worth publicly stating. So we won't be publishing that. I will say however that somewhere around 200 characters were confirmed exploiting this bug.
The names should be published for the same reason we have Bans and Ban Appeals subforums. The team chose to be more transparent on bans and I think you should stick to it even in cases like this.

Without official information all we can have is speculation and hackusations. That's not healthy for anyone.

Previous game breaking exploit mass punishments weren't publicly posted in the past. Therefore this will continue to be the case.

You can think what you like, but there will be NO public posting of those involved in the renown points bug exploit. However, I can't stop those who have been punished from posting on the forum that they're exiled.

https://www.returnofreckoning.com/armor ... name=Svarz

Svarz - active and playing, not renown rank 1 so clearly has nothing to do with this exploit

https://www.returnofreckoning.com/armor ... Daniellita

Daniellita - Not playing his WH, however not renown rank 1 either so has nothing to do with this exploit.

If you want a better idea what they are doing then likely:

If people who were punished will have their renown rank reset to 1 then anyone can check the armory and find out, no? Has this been executed yet? If not when will it happen?

Again, take Ban Appeal subforum as example. Exploiters already have to make a public appeal in front of everyone as it is, if that's not shaming I don't know what is.

remember, ban records are only made public in extreme cases or when a ban appeal is posted...

EDIT: also if a ban appeal is posted (as in your not guilty) its shaming a staff member in a way since you are proving him wrong / abusing his power

No appeals will be made as they were caught red handed, and I will reiterate again, no public post will be made of names.

I suggest you stop right now.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but nobody I play with including myself has abused this bug, anybody that used this to gain what is a huge advantage in pvp looses any ounce of respect they once had. In future before throwing out accusations read how you can spot those that were banned, hint: their renown gets reset to 1

Can you at least confirm if the RR reset has been applied yet? And if not when will it happen.
