How do you earn your gold?

Crafting, both as a way of gaining gold and to save it up. I am self sufficient so I never need to buy any potions. The only thing you really need gold for are talis and I only buy those for my main (to get the best). Alts can usually be covered with blue fragments I have myself.

I have 1205 gold on my WH just from solo roaming so I am sure RvR can be very profitable (and that's having bought a large number of boiling oils and often using blue and officer heal pots). I would imagine people who effectively perform with their groups like Teefz, Svarz, Korze make even more money.

I'm not quite sure how I ended up with my 2k but playing the AH combined with having all crafting jobs was probably part of it. Currently the Order AH is a bit boring because there are no rare/epic 35+ drops, at least not circulating. But sometimes you can still find a bargain... today I got a 200er purple armor frag for 2g... if i would sell that would be a 150-200g profit margin.

Aside from that knowledge is power or in this case money. At the start of T4 you could make really good money with the 660 armor pots. Now everyone knows where to get them. I haven't checked for a couple of days but if you're short on pocket money you might want to look into getting 200 essences.

After several suggestions from this topic/else i decided to take my BO Kagaz up to the (Destro) chapter 22 pq mobs in Kadrin Valley (c22reikland/c22eataine just as good), in the process i earned 20g from kill-silver + selling everything else that was not precursor items and 200 armor/str/int/wil/bal/ frags and 200 goldes/curio mats and then i had my zeal convert the precursor items to magic essences & wou/tou/ini/wea/ and then my blorc went to town making tali's that (after keeping a big bunch of em for myself/guildies) i then put on the AH for i think about 60g in price total. I also put 20x stacks of 200's on there too for i think about 40g in price total.

So give or take about potentially 120g in total for i think 3 hours farming, at this rate (refinement not withstanding) i'll have enough high level tali's for myself and my highrank guild peeps soon enough, ty to everyone for the talkytalk on this topic so far.

There are several known ways to earn gold

Method 1 (pretty sure my guild leader is doing this)
1. Make guild
2. Be all friendly and such and recruit a lot of people
3. Slowly increase the guild tax until it is at 90%
4. Profit

Method 2 (the most exciting one)
1. Join already established guild
2. Make friends with everyone and gain officer privileges
3. Raid bank and sell everything
4. Profit

Method 3 (not in game yet, but soon!)
1. Be in any guild, preferably your own private one
2. Go to the guild hall early in the morning when the server is being updated
3. Do "something" that involves moving items around
4. Profit

Anything else and youre a chump.

Method 2 happened to me, i found the culprit responsible and then i... promoted him.
