Make equip too easy to obtain and ppl complain about the powergap.
Make it take time to get and ppl complain they won't be able to grab it.

Choose your side and let the big whine start.

Oh, btw. if I have to make that statement. I'm a 2h-player, like 2-3 days a week. Grabbed Ruingear, working slowly towards other stuff while enjoying guild-runs.

In the same boat. Tank and healer mains. There is no point to being out and about in Tier 4. At the rate of gain of medallions, it will be years before I could get a piece of Anni. Renown gain is less that satisfactory when you play toons that don't kill people.

Yes, playing a healer without a steady group will not net you many medallions. It was the same in T3 btw. Back then I just specced dps with my AM until I had enough medallions for full devastator. Was thinking of doing the same in T4 but just enjoy healing more. Plus, with bis T3 gear with good talismans you are perfectly able to compete in T4 right now.

Hey buddy, everyone gets shafted in keep rolls. We have a player on destro who has full genesis gear and guess what- he's a tank. Also isn't ruin the best gear for tanks? Can't you literally go afk in an active PQ and receive your ruin set? Whatever you're doing, you're doing it wrong.

I strongly believe of you gave medallions there would be people who pop in from scenarios, from farming gear, doing pve and crafting / chilling in the capital cities. When we have 80 people online in t4 during NA time I can, for one say we generally have 20 people in the lakes would you say Mordred?

I don't think getting gear is hard, it just takes time, yes it is harder in NA, I know, I play in that time zone. I will admit, having guildies pass on medallions is a great help as well as running in small groups because your not rolling against 24 other people helps a lot.

Let me see is I can explain this is terms that can be understood.

The medallion/gear drop rate is set so that if you are in a skilled 6 man that plays 4 to 6 hours a day, you will have your gear including some purple, in a month to two months.

Not everyone is in a guild
Not everyone who is in a guild runs in a 6 man or guild wb. Most guilds are lucky to put out a 4 man at times.
Not everyone even runs in a pug group or war band.

And yet, the RvR system including drops is based on those. Why?
(And please, save from the prattle of this is a group game and everyone has to find a guild with a lot of people that can do guild war bands. That is complete and utter BS. You should not have to slave your gaming hours away in a group in order to get the gear)

Again, I will repeat what I have been saying. Mythic realized that they had to fix their drop ratios and add drops on zone lock and keep take so as to accommodate ALL forms of players and ALL forms of playing styles.

Another thing;
The dependence on kills only for drops (let's face the loot bag rolls are horrendous and I doubt the poor devs can do anything to fix those), has ruined RvR. WAR in t4 is concentrated in one zone at a time. At times RvR stagnates for hours on end of senseless back and forth over the center of one zone, because that is the only way to get drops. That is not how WAR works.

In t4 WAR is a fluid battle over three zones at the same time. That is how it is supposed to be! That is why people love(d) the RvR.
And no, I don't want to hear the idiotic prattle of you should not be in empty zones, because again, you do not have a clue how to play this game. The Devs are designing a whole new RvR system to break up zergs .... when that system was already in place.
Working two or three zones at the same time (when you have the manpower) allows for fast pairing locks. Pulling attackers into another zone by attacking it to block a pairing lock breaks up zergs. All of this was proven in the years when WAR was live.

BUT .... none of that will work in RoR, because there are no rewards. So like it or not, everyone is fighting in one zone at a time as though this was t1 or t2 or t3. Guess what, if this is what you like, debolster and go to lower tiers.
T4 is about WAR in multiple zones at the same time. it is about strategy, it is about tactics, it is about out thinking your opponent. Not, charge from war camp, die at center, respawn, rinse and repeat. And yes, that is what we basically have now.

Because there are no rewards!

And YES, getting Anni is hard. Glad you have multiple hours per day, every day, to play. Not all do. Glad you have your gear, not all do! Glad you have your LEET 6 man, not all of us want one.

Mate jog on with the strawman elitist blabla. If you wanna play solo in a group-orientated game, by all means - do it. However:

You can get anni gear solo, but it will be at a slower pace. That's to be expected;
You can get anni gear if you only have time for 1hour a day (if that), but it will be at a much slower pace.

No need to start insulting others/mocking people who play in a group to maximise medallion gain in order to be done with the grinding process asap. That will do you no favours.

I did not insult anyone, so I would appreciate it if you did not make up stuff because of your lack of a counter argument.

And slower than expected is fine. But not at the rate of one item per 2 months. You want to keep all players competitive, not, as we see, people going to lower tiers because they are getting farmed by geared up people in t4.

To those complaining that tanks/healers dont get any loot rolls.. thats just crap. My main is a healer and ive won plenty of bags in keep takes/defense. Ive won 3 piece from purple bags, and 2-3 gold bags, one of which gave me my chest piece. I'm not saying its easy, it takes ages, i just completed my anni set yesterday actually.

Hit the door instead of just afk'ing in front of it, and tanks make sure u get on the ram or smack the door as much as you can. When inner drops, make sure u get some hits on the lord.

But if you've played this game for a while you'd know that progression is what gives players a reason to fight. As soon as the progression stops it gets stale.
