I'm maybe wrong, but you earn 300 rp if you are 40+. If you are under rr40, you will earn 1200 rp, which is interesting.

I would like to remind you when T3 was the uppest pair and we were all locked in XP and RR without bag. It was less than 6 months ago. T4 is still young, ani is the top stuff you can expect, and as said some time ago, a lot of work has to be done to perform ORvR system. This last point takes time, tools, and tests.

All the team have to deal with a BIG handicap : We can't actually touch/modify the client and all packets haven't been decrypted/understood ( else we would have a 100% functionnal game right now). Futur updates will modify the game, sometime in better way, sometime in worse. Be assured we all share your concern about actual ORvR and we perfectly know that it needs A LOT of improvments to be incentive.

I like the fact that rewards in terms of renown/inf/exp are concentrated in the large buff for kills rather than in the tick. A big concentration of the rewards in the tick just encourages crossrealming and afking at the keep, nothing anyone ever wanted. Especially since there is no anti-crossrealm mechanism in the game yet.

Contribution system for keep defences and attacks could be a whole lot better, can't help, but feel that it's all kind of random in the end.

Along side the purple bag giving the gear. Could you just make a quest for maybe something like 1000 rvr kills, 50 orvr BO flips and 10 zone captures = random genesis piece?

It would be nice if best in slot gear was based on some small element of skill and time investment, not random number generator. No one minds having to do work for gear but give us a realistic and rewarding challenge, not a lottery :)

Killing with AAO provides better renown than a zonelock but I agree that the random "zerg surfer" gets more renown on order atm.

The reward system, which is the topic of the OP, has been changed several times so I don't really understand your point here.

Edit: ah, you mean the the bag roll contribution system.

Yes, it requires people to form groups, perhaps even get on voice coms, having proper speccs etc. That's why I added that for random zerg serfing you get more renown on order atm.

IMHO the worst problem now is people who defend BOs or scout and just move away from the keep bit too far when the lord is killed cannot get any loot for keep taking.
