Wrt WL, why d'you say that?
I'd guess because they can easily burst down inexperienced/bad soloers, are pretty good at getting out of trouble, and can use pet while kiting to get a head start before engaging. But when it comes to actually fighting and killing equally skilled/geared etc opponents, I'd say WL should have issues with all of:
-All 3 tanks
-Mara
-Magus (yep, seriously; only really daemonology ones though)
-SH (unless you can kill em with pounce dmg alone before you die)
-Dps shammy
-All 3 heal-specced healers
Which leaves choppa, WE (as long as you survive opener and pot if need be) and sorc.
Obv not saying you can't beat those classes, or that OP shouldn't roll a WL (edit: you should, they're fun!

). But I think it's misleading to say that they're the
"easiest" for soloing (if you want to win against gd players anyway).
I have a Guardian-spec WL and i usually have no problems soloing: maras are easy, casters easier, tanks might need some kiting but are doable, SH is easy as well if you don't get brutally jumped like a noob. Healers might be troublesome (no heal debuff), but doable as well. The most difficult class to kill for a WL is the DPS Dok, but time your KD right and you should be ok, with the occasional echoing roar when their Rend Soul animation starts.

I obv don't know who you've run into but to quote myself:

Zealote wrote:(if you want to win against gd players anyway)
1) Maras should
not be "easy" - I wonder if the ones you've found to be bothered to switch stances.
2) "Casters" = magus and sorc - Only daemonology magus was on my list of harder classes to deal with... have you faced one?
3) Tanks: pretty much no chance against a good BG with BA. And in general, sure you can kite while your pet gets killed, then keep running till you can resummon, by which time tank's prob left. That's an example of why I emphasised "good players", none of whom would keep chasing after a WL - ignoring the pet - while permasnared.
4) SH: See my original point about pouncing them to death. Should be very difficult to stay in melee range of a good kiter, so unless you can kill them with pounce dmg before they kill you, it (again) shouldn't be "easy".
5) Healers: Shouldn't generally be able to kill a heal specced, non-willpower-stacking healer through detaunt.
6) Yep I said previously that Guardian-specced WL could beat a dps DoK.
I don't normally like this kind of pen and paper war, but if you're calling most/all of those classes "easy", I doubt you've run into many good ones/ones specced for soloing/dueling.
Edit: @kryss That's not a comment on you btw, you might be the best WL here for all I know; I'm just speculating about your opponents' ability/experience lvl.

Not going to argue or anything, but I run solo 95% of my time and my WL is rr 42. I met (and killed) many many different players, all kind of them, from newbies and freshly geared ones to the highest ranked ones (maras included, many of them very well geared, I often check armory to be sure). That's my experience and yeah, also daemon maguses often eat dirt. I also got spanked quite a bit, of course and like everyone else, but from my experience a very well equipped WL is a powerhouse. I know equip <> skill, just speaking on average and from a soloer pont of view

Yeah no point arguing, without vids it's pretty much pointless.
But one point: high ranked and (very) well-geared doesn't necessarily imply they're good at their class. Was exactly the same on live: the number of ppl with BiS gear, rr80-100 but who were keyboard turners that spent most of their time with their back to you and were just generally mostly oblivious was amazing.

And that is surely true
On RoR it's a lot less, but still happens quite a bit

I would love to dance with your WL on my Magus =D Tbh a good WL is a very good opponent but you need that armor debuff imo. Guardian is more of an anti-melee/tank/dok spec.

You can take armor debuff even in guardian spec

Ah yeah you can. RR60 and you got a very optimal spec for both melee and ranged.

this is what I use, you just need RR40 and full merc gear for the +1
