watched the game england vs iceland yesterday ... these viking 'hoo' chants during and at the end of the game, man that made my flesh crawl. forward iceland!

Iceland has, when it comes to football /soccer
7 indoor arenas with artifical grass.
24 outdoor arenas with artifical grass
148 outdoor arenas with natural grass
All of the above is 11 players fields, meaning that for the younger generations that dont host 11 players on each side, there are even more fields for that.
This on a population of aprox 330.000 people, they have aprox 600 football trainers, which is quite staggering if you think about it, I mean, how many football players does that island have?
There is no other nordic country afaik that invest so much in football, without a doubt they even exceed alot other countries in Europe/ rest of the world aswell, its good to see that their hard work is finally paying off.

Around 100 professional football players.
Don´t forget that Iceland has also a very good handball-team. The can´t all play football

here in Italy seems that we've around 60 milions of football trainers over a population of around 60 milions.
