There are several options to make life tougher I think, sadly this will mean suffering from the "casuals" who are not into x-realming for the reason to gain much loot.
- perhaps the launcher could prevent multiboxing?
- the usual lockout for 2-4 hours for t4-characters only (assuming xrealming is less of an issue in t1-t3)
- not a lockout, but simply refuse to be able to rvr, if you do, you will become a chicken
- not a lockout, but reduce inf/rr-gain to zero...
- server can check for a sudden switch in toons.. you could do something with that.
"the wrath of Mork'nGork"-> instantly lock zones in favour of...
there will be tons of option, but evil people will always do evil things.
and good people will suffer from it...
That is the reason, i didnt propose a "punishment" but an incentive. So you can go in a direction to minimize x-realming and you dont punish casuals in such a tremendous way as you would with a lockout.
But as always the argument with the two accounts is hard to come by. But as I thought about it.... I think that may just not be such a problem, as the people had to play their toons up to t4 aggain to do that. Maybe that would be to much effort for the x-Realmers, so they would decide for one class.
