Return of Reckoning

There are a couple of nice spots in T4 in the PVE zones that could be used for this. Just need to find them back but you would need at least a healer on both side for the rezzes till banner rez works.

West Praag come to mind but that needs to be checked and some of the Elf zones too if I recall well.

I wouldn't mind playing rez bot, once in T4, once in a while if I'm not busy with other stuff. Could even couple this with some RP if some folks or up to it.

It's not an "event" that's kind of the point, it's a casual atmosphere where if things are slow you go do some 1v1's or go watch etc....

Reward wise, I really doubt you would be getting any more than running around solo or in a 6 man gank in ORvR. You are fighting against players with the same mindset and drive so there shouldn't be any "farming" going on, and even if someone keeps losing they progressively become worth less RR and drop just like on live.

It's also PvP pure and simple, it's not like people will be getting medals and renown from doing PvE. And if doing duels is the best way to farm then I think that would really speak volumes on how broken the RvR system is.

As far as the spot is concerned CW does seem like the best, easy access between both WC's and a very open terrain and areas were watching duels would be easy.

Also crossrealm chat is a thing on this server /s is seen by both factions.

I know that it isn't an "event" but the fact that events are respected and protected by GM's, gives less incentive to opposing factions to farm the other. With casual 24/7's, there's no protection, other than switching locations, and therefore leads to disrespect. My point? Events have protection, casual 24/7 doesn't. My main concern is that i don't want people getting farmed over something they want to do. And it's easy for one person to just call his buddies to just farm the others if there are enough.

When things "slow down", i find that people are willing to do dumb things when they have nothing else to do.

You get medals and emblems either way, if dueling does happen to give you a better reward then so be it. But i'm worried about the fun factor than the reward factor.

And what i meant (and said), is that a crossrealm chat specifically for duels rather than the plain limited ranged /s would make finding casual duels easier like a crossrealm /5 chat. But like i said, i doubt that would be implemented anytime soon, if not ever, for the dueling community.

Again, my main concern is that i want everyone to have fun and not be farmed.

Used to duel in eataine back in the day. Close to both warcamps and some open fields.

I think it's time for a best in class thread.
