How exactly are you gonna join scs, as melee for example, with no guards and heals? Unless someone has some secret fetish with dying, i personally find it an awful idea. :D Rr gain isn't an issue anyways once you go to t3 and there are ALWAYS premades looking for ppl.
so , as a melee , you should not solo queue sc because you are not sure to be guarded or healed by any pug there ? so , i should first "WASTE" my time in lfg channel trying to find a tank that will accept to guard me and a healer to heal me ? before we can queue for SC , loooool... TIME IS PRECIOUS , we just want to jump in the action

What about bringing back the Keep chest loot for Defending . as it is now the only way to have a chance at keep chest loot is on a capture. thus more people join to capture keeps than to defend.

Maybe restoring the keep chest loot for a successful keep def , will help get more people to stay and try to defend the keep, instead of logging out and logging back on to the side that is taking the keep, instead of staying and defending.

With the way loot drops and warbands work, it is no real surprise that some people go solo.

On my healer I can spend hours in RvR and am completely at the mercy of the group I am in because the only people who roll on the medallions are those in the group that got the killing blows. From a healer standpoint I either have to be lucky or be in a premade.... pugging isn't a viable option to get medallions.

From the perspective of my brightwizard, if generate the vast majority of the deathblows for a group generally. Why split my rolls with anyone if I am pugging to begin with? Might as well go solo and get way way more medallion drops.

It is a flaw in the original game design that doesn't support game play appropriately. Hopefully it gets addressed here after T4 rolls out.

As someone who plays a healer or a tank, I need groups to operate. Neither of my toons functions at all solo. Do I get less swag because I have to roll on everything? Yes. I am not killing anything.
Putting back in the rewards for keep defense would be a good step. I just do not want to see it devolve into the solo/ private warband fest it ended up as. I logged on too many times hoping for some action, and all the warbands were private or everyone was running around solo. Seeing that, I would just log off. At least this time around, I do have GW2 and in a month Uthgard should be back up in beta form. If it ends up like it did live, I will need something else to do if groups become a rarity.

Yes winning keep defences should reward players.
Same with sucessfully Defending BO*s. It's really important that it gets implemented.

As for the loot rolls. They used to be shared among assists, Not kills. So anyone who dmg and healed somone who dmg someone that died got to roll aslong as they were in the same instance, group or wb. If damage were split between someone not in your group or wb and someone in you're group or wb. Then the one who did moast dmg to the target got to roll on the loot.

what if we just establish that there is no solo play in this game , and there for , we will always need to be accompanied to accomplish anything ?

i think that's the merit of the 2 flag requirement for keep lock otherwise no one with out a vp system would bother to lock flags, in 1.4.0 we done it cos we need rank 4 then we just keep chain keep attack or defense.
And this work just until 1 realm get farm in open space or either the offensive realm just lock each flag in sequence and then just fast hit the door using lock timer as a protection for a safe assoults.

When random pugs start to complain that an organized warband (I prefer the term "foursixmans") xrealms to the losing side to even the odds a little, there is little hope left. The majority of the people playing on RoR are Scheiße incarnate.

Edit: Forum censors the english word for that brown substance that comes out of someone's ass, applied german equivalent.

After 3 years of being absent from the game i am atm doing tier 1 RVR on few toons, having a blast.
So let me get this right Tier 2 is absent ? Some solo action only ? What about tier 3 ?
