Meh, my qualifying the 75% number with a preemptive "like" was meant to indicate I was exaggerating.DefinitelyNotWingz wrote:75% (your number) it is a stomp no matter if premade vs premade, pug vs premade or pug vs pug here in EU prime time.gungnir08 wrote:Yep, there's nothing like curbstomping pugs who lack the initiative to group up to curbstomp pugs.DefinitelyNotWingz wrote:
When you realise you are a pug just stop being a pug and get into a premade instead, best advice you will ever get to step up your game.
Srsly you guys are missing a lot of fun.
I know not all premades group up to do that, but you have to admit it's like 75% of what they end up doing. At least for us NA players, it seems that way.
If we had more premades though fights would last longer and be more challenging in general which can be considered a good thing. Also nobody will learn decent grp play without being in a premade.
As for your other point, I disagree only because (as a pug-only queuer during NA) I never get straight pug vs. pug matches. Otherwise, I agree that the vast majority of matches are lopsided, since seemingly every match I'm in has a premade on one side or the other.
As for learning group play, that doesn't really bother me. If I pugged DPS, which is a fate worse than death if you like winning, I would probably agree with you there as well though. As a healer, if I die, it was probably my own fault to begin with.
You can learn how not to play like an idiot without being in a premade, though. Actually, it seems to me that opting not to learn to function on your own would be a deterrent to learning skilled play, but perhaps I'm just looking at it from the wrong perspective. That's actually likely, since I'm extremely anti-premade, and my bias is unquestionable.
