The crashes are far more likely to be caused by the client receiving a malformed packet than malfunctioning hardware.

The bad packet likely comes from group handling, which is being looked at. Unfortunately, we have few good packets from live for group management, so some things are trial and error.

Someday it will be figured out. I was fairly certain it couldn't be hardware unless a weird driver issue.

Id love to donate some time to the team, but I think my amazing lack of understanding programming languages would likely make that a pointless gesture.

Not sure whether it actually does stop the mass d/c's but try making your wb's private and inviting ppl manually.

we all pretty much try to do this as often as possible. But I have yet to see that proven that it stops DC's, as plenty of times will get a DC in alliance only warbands that were closed at the start.

Also I have yet to see compelling evidence about the "spam joining an open but full warband in order to fore a DC" which on each side seems to blame the other side for doing that on purpose to eachother :lol:

I crashed twice on Sunday at what would have been around midday euro time. It only happened in zones where there were 100s of toons engaged in rvr. The upsetting part was that I was levelling some cultivating seeds from 175 to 200, and that takes a long time. Both times I lost 2 lvl 200 seeds to the crashes. That was half of my total supply. But, fortunately, both times the remaining 2 seeds were enough to restock, although I had to go to an empty zone while cultivating the remaining seeds to make sure I didn't crash and lose them as well.

I want to add that in addition to constant crashes server lags became so severe, that after receiving knockdown body travels for around 5 meters and you unable to melee attack it meanwhile. So there is a lot of laggy bs going in melee too and all of this happen when even when there is 200+ players on the whole server so it can't be due to heavy server load. Now when i wrote that main page shows 270+ players online. Just after server restart.

Ah, so I haven't been the only one to notice this. When I KD people latley if they're running they continue moving on my screen for about 2-3 seconds in the same direction(sometimes even into walls) and when I finally figure out when they're actually knocked down at they stand back up and warp back over to where I KD'd them at.

Additionally knockdowns on mobs are acting wonky.

Its exactly that laggy, except they are not teleported back, enemy "teleporting" forward.

I don't think it's lag, though. The same thing happens to mobs, if you are all alone. Try to do a KD on one - They disappear. It's weird. Dunno what is going on, tbh.
