If I'm allowed to interject on Fusion's behalf, the 3/1/2 RDPS fight in which you won 7 to 5 was vastly different from the 2/2/2 melee set-up in which you lost 4 to 5. In my opinion, the reason the balance was shifted in the first fight was due to punting at your spawn once fully pushed back, which allowed you to fire away when Fusion was running back for a regroup; easy kills with your guards far away if you're firing at range with 3 DPS who know what they're doing. The second fight seemed vastly more exciting from a spectator perspective since it was a really awesome close-quarters melee brawl in which the flag was completely ignored. I actually saw it coming that the lowbie WL got killed so often due to lack of levels and gear; if that were you on your WL, Bretin, that fight would've been much more difficult.
Also, deaths from guards in competitive SCs like this are a true shame; they tend to ruin the balance of things by NPC interjection, when you're already having a nice fight. Perhaps something both groups can take into account next time, depending on whether or not you agree
