Just last night dropped a Boundless Choppa.

I made about 500g prior the kill quest nerf and since then about 1k gold just from AH house deals... buying undervalued stuff and selling it for a more appropriate amount or talis. Takes about 30 min per day so not that much time invested.

For the boundless stuff I have seen plenty drop. In SCs it looks like only the grp which made the deathblow can roll on it though. So premades naturally get most of the stuff which is only fair considering that they carry the randoms already.

So overall I think the economy is in a good shape. If you want BIS gear (which boundless is) it's only right that you have to work for it or be lucky.

Again, there are no secrets nor bugs nor anything: it amazes me to see that most ppl cannot admit it's simply luck or something which isn't related to exploiting. I dropped all my valuable stuff while soloing: you make more medallions, uncommon drops to sell for cheap on the AH and - sometimes - you might get a rare. Purples happen too, even though they are extremely unusual. It's simple as that: if you are alone and lucky to drop it, you don't have to roll against a bazillion of other people. Want to have a chance? Zerg less, find an hour off peak to solo, and so on. Server will get better too.

But but... I've not seen any epics drop ever, my 'luck' surely can't be this bad? I've killed 12,000+ mob and 7,000+ player...

It's RNG, random. The only reasonable thing you can do is to keep doing something to lower the odds against your bad luck = make a class who can solo easily, and dedicate some time to it

well so you suppose going solo doing sensless grinding in this beautiful team based pvp game? cant be serious...

Of course I am not saying that. I am just saying that if you want to DROP a boundless weap (like some posters think to do), soloing is the best way to do it. Simple math. I like playing with my guild and participate to every WB they get on going. But for job reasons, I can't always attend: those times I prefer soloing than join a pug. And that can be profitable as well.

It's possible to get very rare item drops in PvE, but your chances are much, much better in PvP - especially in large scale fights

The hate for people hoarding boundless gear isnt that they have a lot of gold, its that they farm that gold for the specific purpose of gaining a gear advantage over other players (who spend 100% of their time in pvp not caring about farming). Thats why tyrant gear was so bad for the original game, and why warpforged was also bad, so the fact that gear advantages still exist on this server is not a good sign.
