With my BW, I began by trying to level up strictly through PvE. (again I have an advantage over a completely green player as I had a RR100 BW on live as well). The drop rate on mobs was too low for me to gear myself out at all (one piece of BW gear through level 6) and I didn't have the renown rank to buy anything from the vendor. I was also sitting at a quarter of the money by RP had by the same point, so I was forced to abandon the PvE only leveling. Once I started scenarios, the leveling went quicker and I started to make a little money to buy gear. I continued doing PvE between pops (since NA can be really slow across the board) and got lucky with a couple of blue dye drops. The blue dye drops were responsible for probably 80% of my income combined for both toons. With the lucky dye drops, I probably made 7 gold or so total on this toon by level 10.
So that little rant was pretty much you just proving to world that PVEing is an entire waste of time?

Look. Either you are kinda making up this arguement as you go along, or I am entirely mis understanding what you believe is at issue here.

So:

Starting Players: These include EVERYONE new to the server. You all start out with the exact same amount of resources. Returning or no, they both have to look things up/ask questions due to changes.
Spoiler:
Joining a guild or not first week will determine how they advance far more so than any drop rate or income change will ever do. I give out 25 gold to new players all the time. If I see someone trying to sell crap for 1g on /4 I will just mail them some gold out of pity. Guilds tend to be like this too. but I will imagine said new player is solo, so no powerlvling
So they both start out and play. If they ask questions or try to actually be a "good player", they can get to t3 in about 20-25hrs of straight SC/RvRing(note, game time not RL time).

In this time, you should have your 2nd mount approx 50 gold and SC weapons for t2, smattering of loot. By the time the new player get's their first character to 35/40, they WILL have full duelist and stalker 2-3piece of dev(depending what they want to start with) and at least 1 t3 SC weapon. I know, cause that is what my worst character is on, and he is 32/31.

However, it seems that your REAL issue isn't with lvling at all. it is in terms of economy. Gold and drops. THAT is an entirely seperate issue. Because that depends on 2 things. Luck and Time. Luck, in that you will get purple drops, But will it be a purple WP glove worth ****, or a purple WL Axe that takes all of 20 seconds to sell for 900 gold? Time in that grinding up your ability to produce consumeables is not something that everyone can do.

The REAL issue with this game and new players is this. How much are you willing to invest in this game? The higher the answer, the easier you will find the vast majority of it to become.

Dude you are so angry. Not sure why you are getting so mad and nasty considering I wasn't even ranting period. I was just commenting on the 'new player' experience from two different perspectives. Lighten the hell up.

You're not alone, Pathis. The only disadvantage new players will have is gold, really. Leveling is simple, either through RvR/SC or if you wanna get to t3 asap just get to rats. You'll need to work on RR a bit more though once hitting t3. I recently rolled a Slayer and he's nearly identically geared to my Choppa stat-wise. The only difference between them is a few thousand gold, and that's because I've simply played my Choppa way longer.

Did you seriously open a thread to answer it yourself only to gripe more about NA pop?
Is that seriously what you got out of my long post? No offense, but you are way off base.
No I got the I'm leet vibe more than anything. With youre telling us how great a healer you are and listing of your RR100 toons. But I was avoiding that subject because i know what happens when people get thier feels hurt. Who knows what the rest see.

Back in topic, of your own thread that your post details lol, I agree with sizer as I stated for returning players the game is easy to get into. For completely new players it's hard as **** to get into.

I believe it is, the advice channel is open and people quickly respond. Plus as others have stated it is fairly simple to get the grips of. However, a friendly guild is super important to enjoying the game

Anyways Tklees, my point wasnt to brag ...my point was to say a player fromt he original live version has it easier so I couldn't really look at it from a completely green perspective.

It's your thread chief. Just offering commentary on what I see. Also I don't not like or like your post. I was just pointing out things you did in your post, which were say you were a great healer, list your rr100 toons, and complain about NA play time. I think you are reading too much into it.
