Really? I found it to be exactly opposite. Destro is in my experience mostly 6-mans, russians or americans. Not many choices if you are looking for an english speaking guild doing ORvR in EU prime time.

Psychoactive Chaos which was also the first guild i joined here i RoR was everything i wanted and excalty what i was looking for

International guild, english speaking with some of the friendliest, helpful and nicest people ive ever met

yeah they do sc grps and alliance warbands but their not serious about it, just a bucha casuals getting toghter and having fun

I don't think our european sensibilities can deal with the audacious and highly intelligent american "smack-talk".

I do know this is a BIG factor. I am NA and have a Knight + SM and the latency is brutal sometimes.

A few other friends from previous games are from Australia and have quit recently due to bad latency... Hopefully they will come back.

I dont know if there is a way to fix that with upgraded servers or not, I do know that things like snare help IMMENSELY. I recently shared a post about how SM is MUCH more difficult to play because its snare has a pre-requisite which creates pretty big QoL issues over my knight who can snare as an opener.

Almost to the point of making it unplayable when being kited.


I dont think its because this game is a "type" of game that doesnt appeal to NA players, this game was popular in NA when it was live, it also is very similar to others such as WoW and ESO as far as playstyle goes.

Initially the biggest turn off to me was that it was an EU private server which undoubtedly meant latency issues but played anyways because of friends...

So I think latency is maybe one of the biggest turn offs to get started, also the fact this entire thing is labeled as an "alpha phase" which (again) turned me off thinking there could be a full wipe later. That + latency initially caused me to say "no way".

Its for sure harder for a NA player to get into the game because of the lack of NA-based guilds or casual guilds that I imagine some of us NA players are looking for.

For those looking for a casual NA guild on order ID sincerely suggest The Family. Phantom is one of the single nicest people I have ever met in my life and always puts his guild before himself. When I first came back to this project he welcomed me with open arms and a power lvl, was only t1 then don't expect a free ride to 35. And tbh the leet 6 man guilds are fairly casual as well tbh. I really only think there is one serious guild on the server and that is gankbus. They just have higher entry, skill level, requirements.
