I don't know if Tesq is comparing Chosen to BO, BO to BG, or BG to KotBs...

made a sum to what can allow to bring what

chosen would not take stats auras as long BO can buff the same ammount for EVERY stat; it would take resistence auras + 2 utility auras which is better than chosen take

res auras + 1 stats auras + 1 utility auras + BG stuff...

the thing is appart from punt tactic, BO can do more or less the chosen stuff or additional stuff which synergy fine with chosen which is not the case for BG. Which is the worst aoe buffer tank in game.

IB basic group utility is a lot better.

crit reduction
crit buff him+ oath
parry buff him+oath
aoe KB+snare
aoe snare
group ap regen
3 ppl cast increase

Ok. I can see that. I run with a Chosen (me on BO) and our synergy is pretty great. BGs are awesome too in their own way, and they are kings of hard ST CC on destro tanks. I guess it really depends who/where you are fighting.

One thing i love about BOs is that they do Ailment type debuffs, so WP can't cleanse them.

Anyway, i think this thread was about KotBS.

ye but it just got ask if we could agree on a party composition for both sides before argument about how much kobs is op or not.
So i just gave my version

wb size:

Destru side is Chosen + BO cos we roll more sorc
Order side is KOBS + IB cos they roll more aoe melee train

sc side destru can easily go BO+ BG but this is because destru internal tank balance is better than order internal tank balance.

Which is why from a lot of time ppl ask nerf kobs buff SM, To just redistribuite the op stuff around. The lol part is that IB have crit debuff just like BG and SO i ask myself why none of destru tanks can buff crits for 20% passively and with 100% update time. Pardon 1 20% to all party and 1 +10% that stack as the IB buff one for a BASE +30% offensive crit chance and +10% heal crit chance.

Must be cos chosen have cripple strike. And when they have not a mirror tools they start cry. I would gladly loose cripple strike to not be force by ppl to slot that useless stuff and save 1 of my tactic slot--> for remove your 20% crit +10% heal crit easy buff from the planet really.
I would also really like both kobs/chosen to loose punt tactic to be able to custom more personaly the class instead to be forced to play with easy op stuff set up. That moreover should not be prenset on chosen (like super punt should not, that's a BG/IB stuff not our).

There are one major elements that need to be discussed when talking about Knights and to the same extent chosen and why you need one in every group, and that is the aura mechanic. I was going to go on a breakdown on why the auras are a problem and how the only counter-play is to bring your own and make suggestions but I will save that for it's own post.

I believe that BOs are needed for a 6 man because of their utility: NIDF, Aoe Snare, Aoe 5s Silence, double interrupt (when fixed) magic damage decreaser etc, plus the ability to apply heaps of pressure.

The Kotbs's tactic ability would have been more inline for it to have a % chance of picking off another enchantment, not triple down, "HARD" counters are not very good way to balance a game, and if they are in a game usually reserved for OP skew elements. Shaman's are not powerful enough to deserve a hard counter, and a 6 Shaman skew was never a thing, there is no balance reason for this tactic even after they nerfed the range of Shatter Confidence.
