Re: Completely random client crashes
Happens. The client crashes because it gets bad packets from the server. Last time we tried to take some steps to fix it, things freaked out and did really weird stuff. Occasional crashes are way better than losing data and having account issues constantly.

Re: Completely random client crashes
Occational crashes are tolerable. Today I got DCed 8 times in a 5 min. period. Mostly Keep stuff, so I dialed back the vid settings (even though my card is good by todays standards) with no change. I'm running Windows 10 with current vid drivers. Card is a Radeon R9 290 with 4gbs of memory. Is there a workaround, or maybe older drivers that would help, or is this simply a packet loss issue?

I'm having the same problem. but there is more. it usually take me dozens of trying to log in most of the time. After clicking ''Connect'' button on client, it takes me to the login screen but nothing happens and after a while (about a minute later) 'Critical error'' appears it says ''Authentication failed -- application will now terminate'' i couldnt find a solution for it. does anyone knows how to fix it?

are you playing on wifi marlonige? I sometimes have the login issue on my laptop which is wifi only, but never on my pc that is direct connect
For those with texture issues, try running in windowed mode instead of full screen, that was a big help for me on my laptop.
