That's a shame that they think that way... what they don't realize though is people get burned out quickly on grind.

Look at it this way, when we got level 24 out... people had to level up all their characters as fast as possible and then gear them up to be competitive. Then 3 days later level 26 comes out and we had to again grind for gear and levels on our characters. Then we had to grind for scenario weapons... then scavenging/talisman making/salvaging. I'm pretty burned out already with all this grind in this project.
I think the game would be great if every character was max level, renown and gear right at char creation. But i play for the fights itself, and i like the complexity of the classes. I think a big portion of the player base is mindlessly grinding the next ding. It's been part of MMO design for so long people don't know what to do without it.
+1 Every toon being bumped to 26/30 would make the game less grindy. Which in turn will (dont shoot me for this) balance out some of the RvR issues. less lowbies in groups that way one side isnt constantly getting rolled by the other.

They won't do it because it's an "MMO" but the devs should think about lowering the grind in the game and instead let us pvp more than pvgrind. ;)

I for one enjoy the progression of leveling and the grinding. If you cba to put the time into leveling, then you are playing the wrong genre of game, sorry.

I agree , the gear should be easy to obtain for everyone, like at the end on live, set pieces were around 50s/piece.
It would take away the 'you have super gear and i don't' argument.
Having the sets never reflected skill, or 'hard work' , it only meant you have spent more time grinding.

Its a built in time sink to make people pay more....in a free to play game it makes no sense, it only makes people get bored.

Well first off i'd like to say that i have a max level toon. I played this game during live so please dont tell me "im playing the wrong genre of game"
And my opinion wasn't meant to say that im too lazy to level.. it was so that we can get more people out there and into the fight, instead of having the zones either dead or one side zerging the other.

So the 600 ppl fight yesterday at Mandred's wasn't big enough for you, with a server cap at 750?

We clearly need more people to increase the lagfest doing keep sieges.

And yes, it was an about even fight. Maybe 55 or 60% Order.

Also, if you've leveled to max in live, how on earth can you have a problem with leveling to 26 now? That makes just about zero sense, since it takes less than half that time. Because clearly you can't be talking about grinding to RR30, which literally does nothing for you. It's pointless.

Besides that, are you new to MMOs? The concept usually follows: Time & Effort = Rewards aka stronger character = profit. In order words: Time = Profit.

Not sure if the website counter is buggy

pop tracker showing 51% Order, 49% Destro

I think the pop tracker needs a little refinement though - it's not indicative of the state of play (perhaps a higher degree of granularity - RvR active vs not flagged, T1 vs T2 vs T3 bracket etc)

3+ warbands of Order rofl-stomping empty keeps in T2 for almost a week now (Hi Avocetti) (remember the Order tears and subsequent gear/medallion wipe that ensued?) - although I'm not surprised people are flocking to the easymode realm

It's because you guys have a complete lock on T1.
Yesterday and today I had level 1 and 2 in my T2 warband - So against the elite premades of destro in their high-end gears, we are using the tactics of the red army, the iranian basij and the goon squad: The human wave.
As major general Shlomo was telling the new troops from T1 today: "You don't need purple equipment, just grab weapons from the corpses laying in the pit of shades as we storm the castle door". Amazingly, our little zerglings are getting better everyday. I can almost see the Maw already!

I am curious if, when new content/better gear will be implemented, we will once again see the allstomping neverending Destro horde as all "Orders" with Destro mains will log onto their beloved darkies.
Then, once content is farmed/gear farm ends for Destro mains, Order start winning again?
