Would a WH with Excomunication M4 work in 6v6?
I'm just asking as I'm totally ignorant about 6v6, but seeing how long does it take to kill someone... you know, 15s of no heals it's juicy, however WH survivability...

Takes to long to aquire that much morale, so you would need an arch mage to get there with any real haste.

You would also need to drop something out of the cookie cutter, probably pistol whip, the dps should remain the same though if not slightly better as exit wound will be at its largest.

I am unsure of the exact implementation on this server but hots all ready on the target where not affected on live, I speculate this because i waked Theodone with it on live then tried to zerg him, their where so many zealots on the walls hotting him he lived, don't even think his health bar moved that much, something that would of been impossible with decent number of rdps shooting at him had he not had some form of healing.

All that said if you can control the hots and lock the target down sure you should be capable of getting that kill, however its a one trick pony and you shouldn't rely on it.

Wouldn'T work. Chosen or BO would pop M4 as well and GG your wasted one trick... maybe it would work once. Then, chosen or BO would keep M4 ready for it and it wouldn't work after that. No way you burn through a guarded dude with Immaculate defense + two health pots even with 0 healing.

But what do I know.

As far as I remember, teinhala-group did this once against enigma(?) (for the younger ones: good 6vs6 groups) and were successful. You may find the video still in this forum, if you search for it. I guess as a bonus you will also find another high quality thread.

I think you will get m4 on WH before the enemy tanks have m4 (you can push morale before engaging the enemy), so this shouldn´t be a problem. Lack of RD might be a problem.

But try it and publish the results :D

Could have been when AM pump was buggy, yeah? Didn't it used to give the max multiplier? Can't imagine it would be as good now with morale so slow, but I echo the "give it a shot" mentality lol

Teinhala never won against enigma besides the one time they ran a twink group with 3 tanks. The fight you mentioned was against LoB and can be found here:

Takes about 17 casts for an AM to pump to m4, Excommunicate is a cheese morale, doubt we'll use it anytime soon, maybe a drunk group.
