Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
Honest question, not trying to troll or start flame war. Do you think CS is good? Bretin thinks CS is, and i quote: "a tactic for bad-mediocre tanks simply to cover their inability of using Challenge properly". Since you guys run together, i'm a little confused on what's Gankbus stance on this.Nanji wrote:CS: 25% dmg reduction, stays 10s can be refreshed/reapplied without cd.
challenge: 30% dmg reduction, lasts about 3s or less
With 6 skillattacks and 4 autoattacks, in 10s, you will be able to get more than 2 crits without any crit on your gear.
Even disregarding the factor of ae to spread cs.
CS is underated challenge is overated.

I agree with you on CS (CS is underated challenge is overated).

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
Not sure how reliable is reliable enough but on my chosen I could keep at least 2 mdps cs-ed without any crit on my gear.
Now in t3 it is way easier. In combination with a bo even better.

challenge can last 15 sec and so if you can stay out of the misc or spread when the bomb start it easier, until unless slayer pop like mushruooms.

Ya missed me! is ST, debuffs damage by 20%, has a 20 sec CD and only debuffs physical damage.TenTonHammer wrote:We all talk about CS, but that is basically rng and not consistent

CS can be easily applied AoE with Rending Blade (undefendable, requires 2H though), debuffs damage by 25%, doesn't have a CD and affects all types of dps. If you want to stay SnB i guess another option for applying it AoE is going for decent Str, crit renown points, and hope you crit them with Blast Wave (which also applies the wounds debuff).
They both stack though

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
Don't get how you could succesfull doing that i was either unlicky cos i could only doing that with max 3-4 ppl and i stacked crit and str or either orders stacked crit chance reduction. :/Nanji wrote:Not sure how reliable is reliable enough but on my chosen I could keep at least 2 mdps cs-ed without any crit on my gear.

Without count the 40% parry chance melee usually have.
edit: I also tried Blast wave and a pure 2h build which didn't had good results. And you loose destinated to victory also that way.

Re: Questions regarding Leading Shots and Dity Tricks
There is only one person that would stack crit reduction on dps, fortunately this person has the movement of a weasel (roadkill, 4 weeks ago) so there is no problem avoiding the 130% parry.Tesq wrote:Don't get how you could succesfull doing that i was unlicky or either orders stacked crit chance reduction. :/Nanji wrote:Not sure how reliable is reliable enough but on my chosen I could keep at least 2 mdps cs-ed without any crit on my gear.

Thought you like numbers. 10 attacks onto at least 15% chance to be crit. Will that work?
Please note that you can also achieve pretty nice crit % with chosen snb.

Oh well i ran the test in 5 minutes before coming to work
Sorry Tesq, I apologize. Yes, CS is cleansable (which sucks when facing Group-cleanse WPs).
