I played against Elite on the Kay server in DAOC when their guild played Hibernia and mine played Midgard, had a lot of 8v8's in Emain/Gorge/etc, these guys were eons ahead of 90% of the PvP'rs when warhammer launched.

Im surprised nobody mentioned Ze Germans who use to run marauders in their 6v6 group BEFORE they were buffed or had 90+ gear and would constantly stomp people.

Malice was probably one of the only guilds that was actually good/respectable towards the end-game, since they could still field a full group and never ran the OP Meta a lot of aforementioned groups did. There's many players you'd never see in the lakes/scens period solo/duo/trio queing because they worried about their KDR and only qued in full groups.

Was always a snooze when we qued whatever we had and got paired with malice because even when their was 2 premades it was a major snooze fest >_<

Anyone remember the order guild on launch called 'Vendetta'? also when I switched to Destro to play BlackGuard I played with a guild name that escapes me. Something like; Granada? Sound familiar to anyone? We were a huge destro RvR guild. Don't remember the servers.

I remember the 3 day 6v6 tournament on iron rock all guilds in one huge ventrilo server. We Train Wreck won that tournament. Unfortunately I'm 1 of the six that still play.

Used to play for Crimson (order side) and the guild I remember having the best fights against must have been No Manner. Think it was a mostly french guild, some of them rerolled from order side Ive been told. But they really had all balls in and gave us one hell of a time when equally paired.

I could list guild names and individual names all day. Here are a few that I still remember - in no particular order.

Elite - Elite had the best AM and the best WL I ever played with on Warhammer. Coholic and Kayland will be remembered as long as my consciousness is intact. They also had great group cohesion and I'll never forget the insane 6v6 we had against DDOW back in their prime days. I did sit this one out but each fight lasted 45 min if I can remember correct.

War monkeys - Malice wouldn't have existed on Gorfant if it wasn't for Neovolk and Squoatz running around on their Knights creating all sorts of "feelings" that would result in us beating the **** out of each other- all day - every day.

Orz - I had the pleasure of healing Sogekingu on my Zealot when we swapped to KA looking for fights. He was a hella player and a hella WE.

Crystalist and his gang on Badlands. I remember having about 13 pages of message between Cyrstal and myself talking about Slayers. Literally, that was all we talked about, lol.

Nydig Cyvic, Indoor, Munhel, Coopx and whoever ran with them. I played a BW named Harvesterr on Badlands for about 4-5 months. Had a blast playing with these guys in "No Escape."

Liandel and Raylando + Crew - they were better then 99.9% of people that played this game. No matter what anyone says. Also, they tried not to die as hard as some people try to live.

Highlet + Myrmidons - if there was ever a guild of people that drank together on vent.. This was it. Good people, good players. I will never forget when they were called out by a 6 man from EU server and then proceeded to beat the **** out of them in a 6v6. Good times. Good laughs.
