Its quite simple, without healers the game, no matter how much we love it, no matte how we want ppl to play how and what they want, FAILS
IF you want to DPS roll a dps class there are plenty of them, and allll different play styles, why does anyone roll a DPS healer, to keep themselves up, plain and simple, its the easy option, you dont die if at all and you can pew pew pew till your hearts content, WHILE the rest of the players die.....
- we shall say the word HEAL means - heal and heal other people not just a little self heal ability -
WE - can't heal -
Chosen - can't heal
Sorc - can't heal
BO - can't heal
SH - can't heal
Magus - can't heal
ALL DEAD cos the healers heal themselves and DPS - if we are going to have duel spec healers then we better be thinking of duel spec everything else......not everyone has a huge well organised guild, not everyone gets a space in a pre-made SC group. This lets be fair thing has to go more than one way.......if we can't rely on the healer class to heal, then WHAT IS THE POINT......as a dps class we rely on the healers, its part of the mechanic of the game, break that and i see little point in any other class but healers playing.
When you play a DPS class - you have to learn how to play well to try and lessen the amount of dying you do, you level fast but you die a lot too - You often would group up with a healer to make leveling and farming easier instead of dying so much.
When you play a healer - you learn to deal with the fact that you can't do half the damage of a DPS class but you put up with that because you don't die a lot - You would often level and play in a group because you could earn XP etc while healing which you could do far easier than DPSing.
When you play a WP or DoK - you expect to be able to hit and heal, you expect to be out there in the front melee healing as that is your class and if you got sick of dying a lot THIS was the class you would choose and put up with the fact that it wasn't a specific class hence wasn't top damage or heals. But as part of the group was good to play
We all have a choice to play the class we want to play and we should all be prepared to deal with the fact that they have their bad points, except DPS healers who have it both ways and will continue to heal themselves and do DPS cos they can, while other classes suffer no one wants to be rolling a WE or choppa if they won't be getting heals..........end of game.
Its like the "let them do what they want" attitude of parenting then wondering why the kids are off the rails...It used to be if you wanted to roll a healer, it was a struggle to level up, but we did it anyway cos that was the class we CHOSE, no one is making anyone play healers, and feel like healbot slaves, i play healers cos they are an important part of a team or group, i do NOT play a healer so i can heal myself and sod everyone else. NO dps healer can honestly say they dont play it cos they can heal themselves, anyone who does is just BSing. Other classes do better damage, but hey they die, its part of the balance.........
Give WEs healing - I will then be a bit like a dps spec AM, lots of damage and just enough heals to keep ME from dying and see how that goes down........

dps zealot for its kick. take care that might have been irony bc i surely wont explain you how to siege properly. all i say is that classes you overlook are viable and do have an insane impact in largescale pvp. bw, sl and kotbs are handicapped friendly and dont require skill at all - to at least not fail. but that doesnt mean they are superior or the g2g
