- Rift/Magnet defense checks now include a Z-axis check for being pulled much like Pounce/Fetch does.
could someone explain me why warbands should use rift magus/engie ? rift already a gimped ability and disabling rifting people from z axis is a really bad idea. it will cause rdps blob on keep walls and pewpew people without any threat.

I disagree. Mara/WL is mdps and it's understandable gimping their utility but engie/magus designed around rift/magnet for warbands, gimping it more will definetly gonna kill the class. Not mentioning their aoe dot spec is totally garbage after the last patch.

Is there some more details on "...check Z-Axis".
-Does it need to be on same height?
-Same height +/-30 feet now?

And a "rdps blob" in front of the keep can't nuke anyone pulling their head over the keep wall?
What can rdps defenders do, when attacker tanks spam HtL?
This of course goes in both directions.
Pulling someone off of keep walls is just cheap kill delivery.

Ooooh dont start on what kills to call cheap or not. I can understand the fix on the rangebug on rifts they were **** hilarious. And the salt in all pms I got were just gold.
I just cant buy this nerf? Its rly concidered "unfair" that engi/magus can pull ppl from walls/hill when other range dps can range kd, stagger etc from wall and get cheap kills?
We can call it "unfair" wh/we can insta kd target when they pop out of stealth and kill ppl with 2-3 hits before they get their butts up from the ground.
We can also call it "unfair" the wl run catches up to a running target and keeps em from mounting till a wl pounces on them an get some turded crit that also almost instakills you.
I just got amazed there came another reason to "fix" the magus/engi. Another imo a really poor reason. I will have to accept it but I couldnt shut my mouth this time cause it was really poorly done. Really.
"unfair to pull ppl from walls" jeez...
Learn to stop peek over the walls instead.
