Question 1: this is the sorta stuff I'm trying to emulate with a hp regen SM, what sort of stats do you have if you don't mind me asking? What weapon?

Question 2: sometimes you punt the enemy way for (seemingly) no reason. Is this intended, or meant as a means of interrupting?

Well... ty... and it is fairly hard to win anything more than 1v1 (maybe 2v1) versus hardcore players. I have lots and lots of clips of 1v1 wins vs (imo) the bestests (Teefz, Krima, Rioz, Theodonne, Vigraf, Nykky, Nicelook, Ais, etc.) I just made a point to myself after some early drama with my youtube vids (solo vids 1 and 2) not to put them in videos anymore. Korze was an exception, as I asked him beforehand.

I change weapon all the time. Mostly for the looks lol. But I like the avoidance proc weapons. +10% avoidance to everything is very hard to beat. Although, I am planning a SnB offensive spec when i can buy the RR45 weapons and get 5 conqueror pieces (only have 1 atm...) I do have them scen/epic weapon on my hotbars, so I can change ahead for either avoidance or more AP+crit.

As far as stats, in the last video, I am running 55% parry, 35% dodge/disrupt (with weapon proc), 300 initiative. Then, with buffs again, 5300 armor, 650 strength, 550 toughness and 550 weapon skill. 950 spirit and ele resist. I tend to skip corp a bit and it sits around 750 ish.

Basically, my thinking goes like this : I know I cannot beat a good healer no matter what. So I spec for the minimum offense that I need to kill average/casual healers. Then I dump everything else in defense. Preferably in avoidance, then resist and armor. I skip toughness altogether as it takes way more of an investment to reach significant mitigation through it. All my talis are resist except 1 or 2 that are armor.

It is also important to have some kind of system of tactic bar to switch ahead if you can. I use bar 2 as staple, switch to bar 1 vs healer heavy fight, bar 3 vs dps heavy fights. Bar 4 is full defense for the Battle of Praag kind of scenario.

Then u just need a bunch of luck to fall on your side ( Terrain, types of opponents, RNG avoidance and the likes).

It depends I guess. Sometimes it is to buy some time for a CD to come up (KD, GnM, morale, etc.) Sometimes it is because I know the player pretty well and think that he will lose some time trying to reposition himself better giving me a small window to attack elsewhere. Sometimes it is to make tab targeting easier. And yes, sometimes it is trying to interrupt although I suck at this. Sometimes it is also probably just the flow of battle. The adrenaline rush is pretty cool when you feel you gonna win agasint all odds and you just do stuff. It is my DnD battlerager roleplaying coming back !
