when i click connect in the launcher, an error appears and it says that the video system does not have the minimun characteristics (it's not like that but i have it in spanish)

Hi guys!
I created my account, activated it, and now I'm trying to log using the RoR launcher. After typing my username and password, then clicking Connect, I got this message:
Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: L'accès au chemin d'accès 'C:\Users\Fanch\Downloads\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' est refusé.

Remove read only on the game folder.

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.
If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.

Game worked fine for week, now it just doesent launch. Connections and server status is green, connect button yellow, but when i press it, nothing happens, not even errors. Tried all CMD commands and updated everything.

Having the same issue. Just made a post about it in the Server Status thread. There's been a lot of connectivity issues the last day or two, so it's most likely related to that.

mhh..i unlock that folder...then i want to start ror launcher..nothing happpens. check folder again.. its locked.
it does not save the unlock.
yesterday it worked fine....mhhh any idears`?

Try moving the folder, and possibly restart computer.

If you're getting this line of code in your error log:

at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.get_CategoryTable()
You need to rebuild performance counters.
Download this:

Extract the file inside and run it as administrator. Then try logging in.
