I found out about it like that except that it was a WE that was 'exploiting' it to catch people. Someone said basically the same "noob jump exploiter stop". Not only did she have 20ft long arms, she could teleport!

Yesterday I spent like 3 hours in a group RvR ganking on my BW.
Didn't notice any serious movement impairing debuffs whatsoever and I'm WoW-style jumping lunatic when I play ranged :D

It's called bunnyhopping, it's when you jump constantly in an attempt to get away from the enemy, since the jump brings you further away from your target than just by simply running/strafing away. Now it's so that when you jump again after jumping before, in combat, you get a 5% speed penalty, which can stack up to 20% for repeated bunnyhopping.
LOVE IT! Sick of nearly every PvP game full of bunny hoppers. :lol:

Thanks for this great patch. The best part is the fix of the dots on the minimap :D

this is the much worse "fix" then bunnyhopping, yes.

Did it work differently on live? Because sharing rewards with every person in the SC was a temporary solution to a problem with splitting XP to individual groups.

Thanks for the reply. I can't really remember, was there scenario quests on live that granted medallions? Not sure if this was even an issue back then. Anyway I am just happy to get an official answer that this is how it is going to be at least for the time being. Helps with strategizing how to gear up our new guildies with the least painful way possible.

well, many parts of the game (still) are not like on live and the parts rely/interact with each other. (Medaillon System, Prices of Gear, Gear, Droprate of Medallions, RVR-System, Rewards for RvR etc. etc.).

So i guess the other parts need tweaking, especially Medaillon Rewards in the quests and prbly. gold reward for pvp quest should go up a bit again to reflect the changes in killcounting. If the change had in mind to further decrease rewards in Scenarios/for pvping i guess it does its job very well :)
