And slayer is a melee dps. He's playing his role. He's not tanking people or heling perty members - he is dealing melle dps.

Regardless, you've yet to make a proper argument as to why these classes should only be healers, when they have an entire mastery dedicated to dealing damage.

1) Not to derail, no. The archtype definition was put in place to give people an idea of what their role may be when playing that class.
