For single target, something like this waronlinebuilder.org - Engineer build

The last 2 point you can play around with. Either get utility in Tinkerer or just level Rifleman to get more damage out of your main dots.

It is a very noob friendly build that give solid single target damage + it is somewhat forgiving with the healing keg. Should let you get a fair share of kill quite easily in keep siege while staying mostly out of harms way. Snipes 150 feet range is really good to finish people off in siege defense. And basically every Morale 2 (every minute or so) should let you get a kill using your 2 main dots : Signal flare and Incendiary rounds + Focus fire.

Target squishy like sorc, SH, WE, choppa... Leave the tanks alone.

Don't forget that in RoR you have to 'snapshot' with that M2. Start new dots with the buff up.

So I apologize if its been posted but from what I've seen there are some good rife and tinker build but I'm looking for a updated Grenadier spec for leveling in oRvR and scenarios. From what I gathered you want to focus on crit bonuses with gear but just wanted to see how a solid gren build looks skill and tactics wise. I would to focus on doing as many AoE dots and debuffs as well as focusing on non physical damage to melt tanks (granted this is a good idea?). I'm still in Tier 1 if that helps and I'm aware that rifle is good until T4 but I enjoy gren so much, what do?

Granted SW was my second favorite class in this game I feel that give the very heavy Melee blob meta destro has that a gren engi would really do well to disrupt the lines.

Are you sure about this?

Threads like this, similar to how only dots cast after your resistance debuff get the benefit.

If I can still remember how to play I'll do some testing this week to verify nothing has changed.

What stats should I focus for a tinkerer build that aim for assisting the melee train?
Willpower for the healing of the kegs?
Armor/toughness/wounds?
BS for damage?

Now that I think about it, is that even a thing to assist the melee train with an engie?
