Took a 5 year hiatus and lost my old files, and seems like no one bothered to reupload these and filehosts dropped the originals. At this point I'd recommend just going to fisk UI and ripping his buffhead settings.

viewtopic.php?t=53906

Go to FiskgjuseUi1.74\user\settings\Martyrs Square\DAMAGE\FiskgjuseUiDamage\BuffHead\

and copy the 2 files in there and replace the 2 in your folder. I don't think it matters which ver. As far as learning the icons, idk what to say but coming back I do feel how bad it is to see them and not know what the hell they are so if anyone knows a way to display that in game that would be awesome otherwise its like I said in the OP, you will have to go to ROR builder and just figure it out in the most tedious way possible.

I also think pqnzer uses custom icons that group together certain buffs as well.If you are wondering why there are no debuffs above the target it looks like he by default stores them in a container instead, so if you want to just have them overhead go into buffhead settings, go to advanced containers and remove the one there, go into trackers>hostile and in the drop down menu do "cast by me" instead of none.

I may or may not work on putting together another drag and drop buffhead like I originally had in this thread, however if I only make minimal changes to what panzer has done there wont be much of a point. I may also find a good method to learn what the icons are, if I do ill post it here. And obviously if anyone has any ideas or an answer for learning what all the icons are please do tell as I imagine for new players its incredibly frustrating to see all these buffs/debuffs and not know what they are which is the entire point of buffhead.

Anyone know what these icons are? Im pretty sure its a generic icon to denote something like snare/armor debuffs have but im not sure what. I'm guessing the different colors mean something as well? Is it what type of debuff (hex/ailment etc.)? And how is it choosing that based on time?

These are containers for stacking similar effects onto single box indication. I believe some of those popular UI packs has something like that configured. In an example you've shown its the indication of standard heal over time effect from every healer's base ability. So u get notification of duration (probably the duration of last applied, the longest) and how many of these hot's are active. All other effects like armor debuffs, outgoing/incoming heal debuff etc. are also parsed and presented under one box, you just need to get familiar with the images and what they mean. For example outgoing heal debuff will show as some greenish box, and incoming one will be the same icon but in purple colors.

Thanks, never messed around with containers so this was throwing me off but your explanation was perfect. Cant get online yet but are we able to edit/customize the icons that containers use etc?

Also ive been able to get my new character im starting level 16 and into t4 messing around in pug wbs to really see how much I like Panzer's buffhead in a large setting where there is a ton of buffs/debuffs being thrown around. I've been thinking a lot about what is and isn't worth showing. At least compared to what I have in the first post in the thread there is a lot more being shown even if containers are being utilized by Panzer's and other buffheads I took from other UI packages like Viny's.

I'm interested in what people have shown/hidden in their buffhead, why they do, etc.

For instance as you told me the icon is a container for HoTs, but is it worth having this shown? Thats to say is it worth the screen realestate to know if someone has a HoT on them? When would that information be useful or actually change how you approach a fight etc.?

Thinking about it, I can tell if someone is getting healed just by their health bar, I dont think Its going to change how or when I would apply a heal debuff. Without a full list of buffs and some kind of filter im not sure buffhead is even capable of and extreme game knowledge of most skill icons in the game its not going to affect whether or not I use a dispell, and its an extremely common buff that does take up a lot space in big fights.

I can see where maybe it gives a couple seconds faster reaction in small scale fights or solo when a target that you are fighting 1v1 gets healed from someone outside your FoV and that faster reaction of knowing a healer showed up might be the difference between escaping or not a lost fight, or maybe getting a ranged stagger off on that healer secures you a kill you wouldn't have gotten if he had gotten a few more casts off due to it taking longer to realize he showed up.

Just 1 example of a single skill, if anyone wants to talk about others im interested, or if you want to tell me why I should have something like this HoT container when im now leaning on removing it.
