Remove read only on the game folder.

Access was denied to the path or file WAR.exe!

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.

Hi there, im stuck on this screen, any advice ?
Its just this, i dont get a error from the ROR launcher.

You might need to check your security permissions. If you're using antivirus, allow an exception for the game and also allow exception through firewall.

If that fails, try downloading the game again.

I downloaded the game but I cant create characters and servers not showing up.

I tried re-downloading it, the lodctr thing in cmd, checked permissions, added it to the firewall and a few other hints I got from browsing the forum.
Nothing seems to help though.

Ideas?
