Worst part is actual well played glass canon WE can beat my actual build. So glass scissor can actualy beat glass rock, and talking about def WE is like rock scissor can actualy compete against rock rock. You don't see the problem homie ?

Yes, WEs need some adjustments you know it, even when i run full defensive regen snb i sometimes melt with those corp damages that bypass everything + the high utility toolkit is no joke.

You just beat 2 WEs and you used pretty much all magic dots. Same thing a regen/tank WE we could use. You also used your morale one to absorb 3800 damage. Aura for damage. Stacked the same ability 3x for dots. Another ability for dots. Reduce defenses by 10%. So its ok for you to be like a defensive WE. You know no shame. With your parry with higher armor.. blah blah.. ez mode

I think most of you don't really know how to properly discuss a topic, giving honest and valuable information, maintaining a free mindset and considering the opinion of others in a honest way. If you discuss a topic only because you want to prove your point, thinking that you are right and that everyone thinking differently is wrong, then you better not discuss at all.

Just to show what I mean: your video doesn't even prove your point, despite what you say that WE was not even close to killing you, you only ate a couple of lucky crits which didn't even put you in danger. In fact you managed to get a very easy and clean kill afterwards.

The video doesn't certainly support your arguments: if anything, it supports the idea that you want all WEs to simply be easy prey for your kotbs or for whatever class is the "rock" in your metaphor.

Besides:
- by your logic, all WE specs and equipment builds should play the same as the glass cannon one (the whole rock scissor and glass scissor thing), while at the same time you can enjoy a much different play style on your kotbs if you switch to 2h (which, in fact, you are doing in the video);
- last I saw, kotbs are like the lowest 2h tank damage-wise due to having a lot physical damage in their toolkit and no serious means to bypass armour, which means they suffer the most Vs high armour targets (like defensive WEs in abyss sov.). Would you want all high armor non-tank builds to be nerfed then?

This whole thread is void. It started with the assumption that a def WE using Vic-Abyss Sov mix with a mix of str-armor talis and Brute Force on top (as is the case with any def WE that knows what they are doing) and a str potion, that sits around 900-1k str shouldn't do damage. I can understand the frustration based on the WE using Agile Escape to basically get a free reset on a losing fight, but a def tank can KD and snare/punt to do basically the same thing.

The argument that WE has corporeal dots is counterintuitive since WH has the exact same things without needing to invest so far in the middle tree either, or any ranged healer ever or chosen/SM.

This thread is just an outcry of a solo player in blob gear dying to a WE specialized in solo, coming from a person that doesn't understand basic addition or statistics, or corporeal resistance lmao ).

Sadly what you wrote is not true at all.

The def welf runs with zero offensive renonw point and zero offensive talisman, with high ini parry and toughness. Armor bonus an toughness from set.

The frustration based on is an unfair, unbalaced spec with a very high dmg with zero investment into offensive stats.

Its a zero risk, high reward gameplay.

And no the even the wh doesnt have these many magic dots and proc.

I suggest to read the original post atleast before commenting or if you cant understand it ask help.

If you think the physical and magic dmage is the same you should read or ask.

Superstar. You are wrong. The kotbs, in my combat with him, used all dots. Then stayed behind his parry, armor, regen, and morale 1 absorption (3800). Same Idea of a witchbrew, regen, spec Welf. Zero danger because naturally a tank has all the defense.

To be fare, a solo fight for a welf goes longer than 30 sec to a minute, your gonna die due to add-ons. Can't complain about that as it is a open zone.

So for the Welf tank, you need to dot them up and survive. While they dot you up or use witchbrew to leave fast. Its not low risk at all. It makes combat last too long. Usually meaning in a welfs death.

And ignore the other guy. He was just mad he died. We all die on this game. Until they nerf respawn.

Basicly veavuse it high and magic dmg its almot a morale 2 in every 10 sec. Plus the kisses.
Armor toughnes wont help and come from a char with more def stat than a tank with zero offensive stat.

The huge base magic dmg has to be lowered to compensate it.

The only “counter” aganist def welf is high parry with huge dmg but even then they just run away with stagger or stealth or both. (Oh yeah and if you put magic resist tali and drink magic resist potions…)

All the other class has more or less balanced. We waiting for the rdps rebalance of course.

But the def welf dont have weakness. The only class who can go full def and still can kill. No other one because every other class will hit very low and the target just wall to the warcamp.

my video speaks for itself. It shows that a tank who supposedly has a lot of protection can melt against an average WE who isn't even playing in the most overpowered configuration of their class.

In fact, the WEs players here are so used to an overpowered class that they think it's normal for a stealther class to competeagainst a tank in a 1v1 regardless of the configuration, especially since they can also destroy healers where the tank has absolutely no chance, neither against a pure healer nor a hybrid healer.

A few messages above, the guy still dared to tell me "you're not glass." But dude, have you ever played a pure glass KotBs against truly talented players? I'll give you a thousand guesses to put it simply: you have terrible DPS and you can't tank. There's no glass canon option for solo kotbs, it's a meme.

At the opposite, If you play your WE as a pure tank, not only will you tank incredibly well, but you'll also do a ton of DPS.

I don't particularly complain about WE who play glass, nor those who play defensively, for that matter. We're lucky that most of the guys otuside who play WE are pretty soft.

So it's still bearable, at least it is for me.

But don't come defending the indefensible.

I'll repeat myself to clarify: I don't think the WE needs a major nerf, but a few minor adjustments are necessary.

Furthermore, I'm not going to complain; I love soloing as a visible class. I'm not bad at it. I played a lot of DAoC solo as a Battle Bard, and those who know, know it's a real challenge.

From a solo perspective, some people choose to play stealth classes for the comfort it offers, and they also want to be able to win 1v1 against good solo players like me who make the effort to play a non-stealth class, which therefore has to survive against zergs with the tactical difficulty it implies. And obviously, I don't have the toolkit of a WE who can hide and disengage most fights.

I don't have a pounce-in/pounce-out, nor a throwing knife that trips enemies.

Again, I'm not complaining; I love my class and I love solo roaming, but if I weren't passionate, I would have quit a long time ago.

Speaking of which, since the changes, many visible solo order players have quit in recent weeks when there were many WE gangs outside destroying all the solo action. And for me, it's also harder to find anything else than WE to duel.

Before, there were a lot of solo chosen, sometimes marauder, solo SH, but now it's mostly WE, or people stack in duos/trios due to the current greedy vibe.

This thread makes a mockery of itself. Witchbrew is strong as its a finisher but it cannot crit. While BAL crits crazy hard.

As far as tanky/regen, lots of other classes do the same. With high damage...

Incendiary shot, Fervor and Burn Heretic seem to disagree with u. Wh has the same healing tactic and their bullets proc consistently even if u spam 1 point finishers. It's apparent u are parroting whatever values u saw at Dalen and are just Dunning-Kreuger-ing yourself.

U can literally use killboard and see what the Dreaded Solater runs, but u didn't even bother.

And no RP, zeal, sham and AM are not balanced when it comes to solo def/kite builds lmao. There is a reason they are that popular .

as an offensive tank i accept that a hybrid healer can ez win 1v1 against me
