I also wonder why no changes were made to Shadow Warrior but some pretty extensive changes were made to SH?

by magic damage is this means melee magic dmg coming from SM for example. Anyway looks weak imo to be worth it should be 2k or so, after all no wonder everyone stack armor talis. Or if you really want to make it anti range tool make it to increase dodge + disrupt for 3 sec by 50 (scaling with tree points till 70 or so)- Mark of the Vortex active effect reworked into - No cost. 60s cd. Instant cast. Shield yourself, absorbing 1387 ranged and magic damage over 10 seconds.
nerfing sorc/bw burst is strange imo there are quite many tools to deny their dmg and they pay for that by being with very few survival tools so meh

I really believe if you went back to the last live patch 1.4.8 and simply left the server alone everyone would have fun and you would have many more players on the server. I know 1.4.8 is not the vision of the server but right now people are not sure what to expect from the balance team. The foundation of the game is changing and most of the best parts of the game in regards to the class/faction and flavor of Warhammer are being thrown away. In favor of what? If Return to Reckoning throws away the iconic features that make Warhammer races and classes fun to play it’s no longer Warhammer at all. It’s becoming simply a bunch of players chasing kill numbers and inflating personal egos for whatever reason. It’s very sad to see for those of us who love the Warhammer lore and fun of playing this game.

It means Magic and Ranged attack type, so no melee magical damage. It's a bit confusing as the word "magic" was both used by Mythic to describe magic attack type, as well as non-physical damage.

let's assume that I use all the liniments no one uses just to amuse you. 180 extra resistance to take a WL to 660resistance. Now apply the 380 magus debuff to that to get 280 that equals 16% mitigation.
656 weaponskill and a 900 armor debuff bring the same WL to 15.8% mitgation or the same essentially.
Aka vs medium armor magical damage is doing 656 stat worth of extra damage for free even vs a linament.

So....nerfing SH's movement speeds and not touching the king of kite SW? yeah. "fair"
Changing the zeal rune to "absorb magic and ranges" but keeping the RP's all types of damage, yup, "fair again".
Are destro characters just not allowed to have any mobility? SW tactics with no cooldown, awesome. WL pet ranged knockdown, pounce, and dash. Yup awesome. SM tank friggen leaps, yup more awesome.
Order complains about shammies n SH's run away tactic, but wtf is left? You've got mobility AND range on us. Got ranged knockdowns. They complain about "sh has a ranged disarm, so broken", guess what, you can still use a potion and/or run away with a disarm, we just get nuked on a ranged KNOCKDOWN.
They killed big shooting with the poison arrow tactic removal. Yet 3.5-4k crit fester arrows at 110 range after a ranged knockdown with the speed tactic stance BS chasing you down is "balanced"

SW tactic is set at 20% movement speed, SH movement buffs are set at 30%. As for SW being ''king of kite'' well they are up against pullspam maras, all the cc advantages destro as a faction has in the open field. Goblins are more efficient kiters with everything included. SW stance mechanic is mirrored to Mara stance mechanic, not SH armor. If they add CD to Assault stance, then so Mara need a cd to monstrosity stance.
As destro you don't have to worry much about WL pet since a) Pet is bugged and slow nerfed(read bugtracker) and therefore 95% of the WL community plays ''loner'' Aoe build and only a few stubborn WL's play with a near useless bugged pet that can't go around a damn hill without moving in the opposite direction

Having said that, i don't necessarily agree to the nerfs, in my opinion all that needed to happen was to nerf the ranged disarm range and make it equivalent to the SW melee disarm. I did not see the need to nerf SH much as an Order player, the real problem is called hybrid shamans but the devs have decided that Magic classes in this game must be Privileged.
I guess we should all reroll , Shamans, Arch Mages, Magus and shield tanks like the devs want us to do?

My thought too! If Initiative needs to be sexier it could definitely have used a significantly buffed dodge bonus, the likelyhood of dodging an rdps is so poor even with 3x+ deft defender its pretty much a mythical non-event. RIP mDPS wich are only relying on stacking WS to get reasonably high parry.
SUper buff to WH and WE with natural high Initiative, while pretty much every other character is around 200, probably less for most.
