Rsoe wrote:Hi! I am new here on the forum, but i want to share my opinion on the subject, so here goes:

I agree that a reset of the gold when exploits have been fixed, seems to be a proper solution (IMO ofc). Once the gold is reset the +12 items no longer have the same value as they had when bought and as there is no gold around it cant be sold for alot of profit.

I am one of many farmers who have spend time well... farming. I would be disappointed in seeing the gear i have legitmately farmed vanish into the thin air. I do hear ppl saying "well sad panda...(nice expression btw:D") and i undertand it is alpha. But why punish ppl for farming when it isnt nessesary? :/

I have some +12 items, and ofc i dont want to be punished for exploits, unless it is absolutely nessesary which i dont think it is. Personally i sell very few items, i rather trade with other players, and often just give away itmes because it is more fun to get a "ty:)" or "good trade^^" than a mail from AH.

Bozzax. I think selfish is maybe a strong word in this connection, rather looking out for interests^^. People go to WAR:ROR with different ways of playing and there should be room for that i think. Everyone is playing their role in making this an MMO with diversity. You may start pointing fingers at yourself b4 you point them at others. Why are you so eager to get a +12 gear reset?(Poking bozzax gently on the shoulder while :))? I understand you want equality on the battlfield, but if all is reset, dont you think we will just farm again?(As oldplayer already suggested) I am sorry if i misread somthing

/Xiu
Are you saying anyone that say they are honest farmers should keep gold and gear?
Would me being a baddie cry baby chage the fact that duped money are duped?
How does the way ppl play differently affect duped gold. I miss the connection please help me out?

we could also remove all items above lvl 12 + a semi gold whipe just to be sure t2 gets equal again
all up for decussion
Step away from the +r12 gear.

Some people have spent a lot of time farming that gear because some guys like to farm their own gear, believe it or not. And because some gold exploiters "apparently" buy some of the +r12 gear we don't want from AH all of a sudden the LEGIT farmers are bad guys now? Is this a punish none or punish all mentality we have going on in here?

Yes, it's a rant.
Does your legit 12+ gear have a legit stamp on it?
What is a legit farmer by the way?
Could you possibly have a list of the legit farmers cause that would be great news?

I am so far away from being butthurt as you are from logical thinking. And by that I mean a lot.
Get your kiddo-attitude and get out of here please, there are polite and less suspicious people at work here.
So please know YOUR place and realize its not here.

You are just too funny, guy.
You react as i would have bombed your head and insulted you with w/e when actually all i did was ask someone a question, someone that WAS NOT YOU.
No idea why the heck you had to get involved. Confused much on what your name is? Could it be that?

Really guy , your walls of text do not impress me much after seeing this. I respect a public opinion on w/e discussion there is, but getting a headshot from you for something so not related to you... wtf man ?! Maybe you should take it easy with discussions? Like really take it easy? o.O

Well, some people really ARE easy to entertain... even if there is no attempt to do so.
I react in a calm matter and just state my mind on the topic, which is, yet again, a public one. So yes, someone can be adressed when they are brought to the attention of other people.
I am not the one writing in capital letters here and I'm not wondering why someone is actually getting involved in a discussion...
And yes, you're not directly insulting, but, as I mentioned earlier, your attitude is really annoying. Just like your last two... question? If those are supposed to be questions, cause the context fails to hit me.
Anyway, too late to put up with trolls, so cheers and see you around ;)

The item discussion actually raises a valid point, namely that a gold wipe alone won't deal with the issue of players with huge amounts of gold stockpiling high sell price items with the intention to vend them post-reset for gold. This is such an obvious dodge that I'm sure they've already thought of it, but it now raises the possibility that more than just a gold wipe is necessary to wipe out the results of this abuse.

No, but you have finally named the Few who Demand Reset.
