Client download issues and troubleshooting

My AntiVirus (McAfee, which sucks but still) quarantines the Return of Reckoning launcher every time I download it. I disabled Real Time Scanning for the download which allowed the file to actually download properly but the moment I turn it back on the file is quarantined again, if I restore it, it gets immediately quarantined again. My computer seems the be convinced it is a Trojan. If there is one thing I don't want to do it is turn off Real Time Scanning permanently, is there a way around this? Or will I just have to send it off the McAfee for testing because they won't allow me to confirm it myself?

I am having trouble downloading the launcher. I am not sure if this is something on my end or RoR's...

I downloaded the torrent with no issues what so ever via the link provided on this website. I attempted to download the launcher after this, but my browser (Goggle chrome) and my anti-virus program (Bitdefender) blocked the download, providing the message "Insignificant permissions"

I've tried to override this, but Bitdefender will not allow me to do so. It also telling me that my computer is infected with two Trojan. Generic 12610454. (Viruses quarantined) I've tired disabling Bitdefender..., another browser.

I'm not sure how to go about downloading the launcher. The only reason I shared the virus info is because find it relevant based on post above. I see two possibilities...Either my protection is having a hiccup or there is something in the download that should not be there. :'(

I would like to safely play Warhammer online again, but disabling my firewall is not a option. I hope we can work this out

I tend to get less bothered by the antivirus if I use the mini launcher. Try that, see if your antivirus is crying or not.

i startet the launcher and first it brought up an error

but the launcher still says that it established connection
so when i go on the war.exe it says i have to patch the game with warpatcher.
i startet warpatchter and let it run for the patch but nothing happens,
it keeps on saying initializing...

What the heck are you doing lol. First of all this is the wrong thread, secondly try the mini launcher, stop using the link provided left around in the Download Game/Launcher button cause it's outdated.
3rd - if it still persists with the mini launcher make a new thread about it.

I tried to download your mini launcher.

My firewall blocked it and with good reason. It also wanted me to download all of this other additional non-relevant programs like Taplika search engine, some facebook toolbar (Which did bypass my firewall), some cheap security program that probably doesn't protect computers and something called wajam (Also bypassed) and various other programs.

I'm finding it difficult to believe that the launcher is safe...

Can I have some help?

Why the flying fuc.k are you so dumb as to not click on the idio.t skip button on the top right and instead like a derp to click on the advertising? I stated in the mini launcher thread that i am using advertising to lower my hosting fee cost. But you don't read that shi.t now do you?

Instead you come here saying that the launcher makes you download malware and that your antivirus is detecting trojans/viruses whatever the fuc.k you wrote there.

Currently you're an idio.t, that's what you are, and you don't deserve help. I guess the launcher is the first and only IQ test for people that want to play this game.

Instead of actually documenting yourself on what is happening and why, you just throw away words like I do. The difference between us two doing this is that my words are based on your stupidity.

The launcher from the big button is a more complex application made by me as well. The mini one is the big one, but stripped down so that more people can use it without fear of their credentials found in Passwords.txt will be stolen.

If you can tell me that I am trying to place viruses and malware on other people's computers then I can tell you you're an idiot and an ignorant. It's just that you're accusing me of something far worse.
