I liked the idea of the guild keep and other bonuses for guild members in a zone.
I think it may solve some problems.
Any other ideas we can implement right now :)? Guild stuff is uncharted territory for me and is currently out of reach.
About implementation,.. A quest system which rewards going somewhere else and do your own stuff or enable pvdoor. Or the guild stuff.

But still, in the main part it is: can't fix attitude.
Wrote in the last thread how players behave on average (incentive driven).

You made Praag with your group really fun.
For everyday business this would be enough to stall a zone for hours as you could see. We did the same in the beginning on order. For about 3 times.

We even lead pugs there.

Atm. We want to establish stability in our guild, means setup, git gud, more core players and so on.
X reaming back and forth would only split our guild right now. Some people just don't have an order toon. Some of our players x realm occasionally. Means if we do that in a wb night, 40% at least will log. Me included most of the time, I hate playing multiple chars.

Non the less, it's not our job that order gets his stuff together. What was your size of force? 12? Perhaps 15 on its peak?
If order refuses to play like this, not our problem.
We will not risk guild cohesion atm. for it, we are simply too new to pull this off right now.

The moment you left it it gone back to neutral.
This really felt like a great zerg splitter and made it allot easyer to find fights in general instead of now the only thing you fight is the 1 big 40-50man zerg crushing its path trough the zone or those 1-4 solo roamers capping/decapping the BO's.

Why did this BO system got reverted?
That was for once a very good change tbh and made me have fun in RvR again.
Now i just play RvR cuz i desperatly want the seals but thats it.
agree with this, the BO system was nice you can see where you find your enemy and get same nice fights

and i realy love more zone open i was bored before not play to much but in more zones you can find same nice small fights.

dont make it back to one open zerg zone

Asking for feedback and feels, not intending to reverting this for now.

Also, you can now see if there are people at a BO - both map and State of the Realm show gold glow on BO when there are people around it and no glow when there is noone there.

May i ask why this specifick BO mechanic got reverted?
The one where you had to stay on BO to keep it from going neutral.

It would make orvr in the more populated zones more bearable for small WBs/groups and soloers vs the zerg.
%100 azarael logic spotted. punishment.

the real aao should be personal which is really hard to implement.

-if you have enemies around x ft, you got x amount of x buff.

nice this is enought,
for feedback only one thing, but not sure if posible, will be nice to have same big announcement if same keep is under attack, best thing all over monitor (like GM announcement ). Sameone says its in same chat but i never see that

edit: one more thing its not nice if you kill same lowbie with 400 aao and you get 1 renown :) its almost better to let them go :)

Player feedback and our eyeballing of this implementation suggested that the BOs should not uncap, there was also an issue with big group stomping small groups around BOs making locking zone very hard to achieve, so we decided that reducing the resources generation from unoccupied BOs should be enough.

There is big announcement in RvR channel, check if you have this one enabled. Also install state of the realm addon, it shows you stuff in near real time (at worst every 60s).

Lowbie is lowbie, 1 renown for him is good enough when you stomp him hard.

it's not about helping order, they are still headless/roleplayer pug herd, it's about having fun about the game. i personally get bored of bombing order pugs over and over with number advantage in the zone. order pugs are worst mmo players i ever see.

about the guild thing, you will lose more members cause of boredom than playing as underdog. if they are lazy to level a 2nd toon, that means they really don't care about playing with you.

i have a dream like current premades, 6/24 mans, got stomach for balancing the population by theirself. just imagine you're ocara and in a scenario and gonna fight agaist lob, dnd, ccm at the same time. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=22817 i'm really happy about to see some initiative from order for example, even they're 6man originaly.

sorry for derail topic.

Spoiler:
We realized that's atm a long term achievement.
We thought it's fast achieved. It isn't with the multiple changes to leveling etc.

Even though we are considered from the outside as a "hardcore guild"...

we are somewhere in the middle of the spectrum by what i would assume most people's usual standards, we are experienced veterans who like to be organised and fairly competitive with what we have available without selling our soul to the devil ;)
...in fact we are not, we have really mixed player base with jobs, children and so on.
I would those ppl never attest they don't care or they are lazy, they have simply other responsibilities besides playing the game for an average of approx 70 hours a month in a warband alone.
For some that's already, and indeed it is, a huge commitment.

Leveling on top is for some just not possible.

And that's OK in my eyes.

Fact is we can't pull it off as we would like to sometimes (regarding the xrealming for better fights).
Enough derailment for now.
