Personally I've never been a carrot PvP player. I don't need anything dangled in front me to get me to PvP. When the game was live I played scens just because I enjoyed PvP.
Don't get me wrong, it's good that there are rewards and progression but I hardly think scens are endangered.

I already stated this was false before, they are not overly rewarding
SC weapons are not BiS, t4 rvr influence weapons are
SC sets are not BiS for all classes, only for certain playstyles

For now... Remember, on live there were several SC weapons in T4 for different RRs (45, 55, 65, 75). RoR won't have Warpforged (RR100) or Doomflayer (RR90) weapons, but i guess we will probably get Sov (rr75) which are massively better than RvR influence weapons. Hell, anything over rr55 is probably better than the Inf rewards. IIRC no one used the Inf weapons for anything. Even purple bag weapons from keep takes/city were much better due to the procs they had.

And some behaviour in SC...
Being alone and playing for youself often rewards you more xp, and renown than playing in a party.
Which makes the side with the few solos lose, but the solos gain more than their side...
My main is a heal WP, i used to do that on official at low lvl to xp faster, but here, it's not THAT rewarding, but still enough for ppl to do it and just aim for kills without helping anyone...

What does it mean? XD
I love playing my wp healer, i only play it in party, SC or rvr. But some sc are frustratring due to that.
If that was only for me i'd say "since many people want to rush T4 asap, make XP rewards in SC VERY rewarding (since they are NOT mandatory for anything), and make renown more easily rewarded in orvr than in sc."
So that: if people want to lvl fast (or up to their tier cap), they chain SC, then they go to orvr to have fun in rvr.

The current reward system is fine even tho i think SC's in its current form is overly rewarding.
Back on live it was bonkers that people who sat afk in a warcamp somewere while queing for sc could join a city seige and get free loot when others did all the hard work and locking down the pairings. Lets not have it that way again. You want orvr rewards. Then do orvr.
1- No they are not
2- Tired of the Lakes being the ONLY means of doing anything. Thinking like that is what has caused the current Zerg/Keep D mentality. It is the fault of people that think like that and that made sc's less rewarding, forcing everyone into the lakes to get the gear they need.
And NO... not everyone can get the gear they need from SC's. MDPS SC gear is BULL... it is deff spec..... no mdps in their right mind goes deff spec. Healer SC gear is dps. You can't heal with dps gear.
ORvR needs LESSSSSS people...stop craming everyone into one sandbox!
OHHH I see so you are one of those that LIKES the 5 WB zerg rolling over the 1 WB of defenders. You call this ORvR? I call it easymode zerg mentality and I am sorry, but, YOU have ruined the game by cramming everyone into the lakes.
Lastly... SCENARIOS ARE ORVR!!!!!!

No. They really aren't. Please read my earlier posts.

Nope. You always know what to expect in a SC, whereas you have no clue what will happen in RvR. Maybe you run into a soloer... or maybe you turn around a corner and run into 20 enemies. It's this uncertainty that keeps RvR exciting (for me).

SCs are not ORvR... but they are an integral part of WAR and have been so for 7+ years, whether you like it or not.
