Last post from be cause im dragging this off topic. This is not a set that was ran at all from the time i played on live. I guess at this point i must conceed the point of gear. However i do still feel that to much dps should be in balance with defence. A tank with high damage should be all rights be squishy.

not really... i mean look at IB, its not SM levels but the class still does respectable DPS and is still pretty durable even with a 2H

I though we were talking about annihilator lvl of gear. There you go, bloodlord.
I d like to add that obviously there were not many good SMs on live or SM wouldnt have been underrated like this in the beginning of RoR.

Few things contribute in regard to sm's, with the new merc set you gain a fair amount of ini, the one thing dps tanks should suffer from is a high chance to be crit, black orcs have a total of 13 ini on merc set, sm's have 56, it makes a big difference.
Wall of darting steel also makes a big difference, that is your get out of jail skill and is the reason why sm's as 2h can be off and still be hard to kill.
Blurring shock and skull thumper make a huge difference, i cant remember if it had an internal cooldown on live but i definitely feel it needs one here, it can proc a ridiculous about of times in quick succession.
Double/stacking resist debuff basically means your target has 0 resists, large damage, even as a def sm you can get big hits.
Lastly sm dot spec, quick incision, centuries of training, ensorcelled agony and potent enchantments when your target has all these and blurring shock you can get really nasty burst.

This aint exclusive to ror and sm's have defo been underrated on live same as blorcs, or i guess u cud say they just require more of a brain to play.

Tanks do, do more damage here and im talking end times on live, players have alot less def values on ror then on live which i do feel is a good thing

Wingz idk why you consistently need to make snide comments "playing to much with wrong ppl are we" i can tell you he is playing with the right ppl, we have fun, we laugh and have banter with each other and when we actually have a proper group which is like once every blue moon we give any pre a run for there money with our non fotm setup against groups who run fotm setups al day all night.
One thing we dont do is crash the game when we encounter a zerg and fail to escape, and certainly dont speak to each other like a certain guild member of yours does when **** goes bad, hello sw fail.

Cute, i never said sm's are OP was just a counter argument all of which are valid points, if they were not im sure you would attempt to make my points worthless.

Bretin, wingit is not a member of our guild, he played with us for 2 weeks or so, we are just 5 members, 6 if you count our chosen who for personal reasons cannot play with us at the moment. You know if others were as keen as yourself to report ppl for misbehaviour you lot would spend more time temp banned then playing, infact havent all your guild members apart from heaton (who is actually the only cool guy in your guild) been banned atleast once ? thought so. :)

Also to add to tank dps, the epic weapons with the taunt proc adds to damage, 30% extra damage is no joke.

Morfees comments be like:
Nanji wrote:
1. take a skill you hate
2. come up with a random situation/scenario where this skill can be used at great effect
3. describe your inability to deal with it under very specific conditions
4. ask for nerf
Thanks for the derail man, really appreciate it.

Derailing is when you make a comment like "playing to much with the wrong ppl are we".
Curious why you are even posting on the forums, didnt your main forum account get banned for trolling and personal attacks on ppl ?

Can we get this guy a forum ban again ? it surely cant be a coincidence that this guy posts and suddenly ppl like myself feel the need to defend themselves against direct insults or belittling.
