not sayng anything near as you need em (exept on magus) just there are some cross mirror between classes also related to pairing.

Burn Through is a part of the rotation, how exactly bw should conter disrupts. Bw/sorc has a special spec to conter disrupt and perform a lot of undefendable additional damage, while sorc has undefendable skills in st tree, BW has to slot BT to make st skills undefendable, in both cases, they will finaly have undefendable instant cast skills with an additional damage after enemy disrupts.

And Flames Kiss is just a core tactic that makes 2 skills in different trees undefendable. Nothing more.

echo of power have a 5 sec cd and is longer away from have the same value of those bw/magus tactic, also those 2 tactics are pretty mirrored if you do not see it, 2 skill are undefitable x 1 tactic pretty simple and clear.

Eop is undefitable, i never used it in RoR, but in official times it worked like trigger, and you could trigger it 3-4 times in a row before CD started, and that was the only mirror of undefitable instant FB, never the less, no one ever used them both

The 'core' abilities are all the same, while morales, tactics, and mastery abilities, were Mythic's way of making them feel 'unique-' but all it really did was create unbalanced mirrors. Order gets better utility- attacks that cannot be defended against- better morale abilities and Destro gets careers that look better.
In the end is all balances out, right?

Considering that the magus / engi are the ultimate aoe group support class, I have one question. Are people expecting them to be viable in a purely solo situation? Because while you can get some success solo, the class is built for group play.
And I have seen both engis and magus rule a battle.
Which leads me to a second question;
If both the Magus and Engi can dominate a battle why are people still calling them a weak class?

So I rolled a Magus and an Engi. Granted, the engi is only in t3 and the magus still in t2 (I just really hate playing with destro... the constant whining of being underpowered has really gotten me sick), but....

Both toons have a spammable aoe dot that cause a lot of damage. Can it be cleansed? Sure it can, but if you are spamming it, who cares??

I see an enemy group coming I aoe dot the closest, shift tab and aoe dot the next and then a third. Rinse and repeat. AND because I can spam and move at the same time I stay at a safe distance. Mix in a few incendiary rounds, mines, and concussion and other grenades, and decimate entire war bands. And I have seen magus do the same to order warbands. (it is where I got the idea)

So.... are you trying to solo gank on a magus as if it was a WE? Are you trying to cause over 100k damage in an SC like a sorc? If so, you are playing the magus the wrong way. You don't need a buff, you need to change your game style and use the toon as it was meant to be used. AoE massive spammable damage to compliment the DoT damage of the Sorc, the burst damage of the mdps and ranged damage of your rdps.

Get back to me when you hit t4! Also rift is only thing u bring to a wb (plus decent pbaoe burst in ONE spec)

Please don't spread rubbish. A bunch of weak, cleansable dots does not = big aoe pressure. What is this spammable aoe dot that causes a lot of damage btw? Glean Magic ticks - on rr40 characters in merc/anni - for at best 120 dmg.

Ps. Also gg for exposing yourself as THAT magus who uses a stagger immediately after aoe dotting everything :p free immunities 4 lyf
