[KOTBS] "Destroy Confidence" tactic discussion

The funniest thing is how they talk like there's always only 1 healer in wb, who's always a shaman and who heals only 1 target at time only with hots, thus allowing an all-mightly kotbs to shut down his single-target hot healing easily. And the poor shaman can't even re-apply his hots to this target... for whatever reason
I feel sorry for them, they live in a terrible, nightmarish world.

And so the failure continues. Let me restate the previous pages for you again, just to make sure you don't provide a false impression on the last page.

1) It doesn't matter if there's another healer, it matters ONLY that using a healer other than Shaman is a better choice

2) KotBS isn't the only one with a shatter

3) The KotBS pays 25 AP and one GCD to shatter 3 enchantments worth far more AP and 3 GCDs, so the action economy is imbalanced.

Let me also make something else clear for the rest of you.

When you're discussing in these threads, you're essentially trying to convince ME of something.

So when I see you shitposting and flaming, what do I think? I think you don't have any decent arguments and you're panicking. Every shitpost actually persuades me to adopt the opposite opinion.

Because there are more than 1 healer on order and more than one healer on a WB?

Ill tell you when this tactic hurts; in 6v6/small scale if the opposing team runs a shaman and in scenarios where rng makes it so that the healers on destro for a large part are shamans

ill also tell you that in 6 mans if you run 2 kotbs you can slot this tactic also well has have other options between the two tanks such as strike through, shatter, along with standard runefang crit, and heal etc

Now you can talk about your WB v WB all you want but if you take a look at every serious balance disscussion and change so far it was made in the context of 6v6 group play

2H WP didnt get AoE detuant b/c they were not good at 1v1

Engie and magus didnt get buffs to stagger and ST because no one wanted them in WB's

both got buffs since neither are strong in group play and unless the devs do a complete overhaul of the system with changes like brosphstalin guy said to me in the other thread then were not gonna balance to 12v12/WBvWB

irregardless of how a vast majority of the population play balance discussions are in the frame of 6v6 and in that frame of view KOTBS with this tactic renders shamans useless which enforces the DoKx2 or DoK + Zelot meta

You're guys are over-exaggerating the usefulness of that tactic. I would never use it for two reasons:
a) shaman is the weakest healer on destro side
b) there are much better tactics for kotbs like 20% crit or 15% heal buff or 3 targets slow

People already mostly run 2 doks or 1 dok 1 zealot in premades and it isn't because of kotbs triple shatter because they can't even use yet.

A tactic to remove enchantments of the weakest healer on the opposite side is just not worth it hence no one will ever use it, especially (as I've mentioned before) since there are much better tactics for kotbs to choose from.

It was a thing on live in case you dont remember, running 2 Kotbs gives them the liberty of freeing up tactic slots since they can split the staple 15% heal and 20% grp crit between them allowing more auras to be run and the slotting tactic options they normally cannot slot in a group like shatter, Triple snare, superpunt etc

Well, almost neve seen that setup, if this is the melee train - you will need IB, if this is the Bombsquad, you need only 1 KotBS, so i really cannot understand that exchange.
