To be honest I think everything gone downhill since the ability rework (and GCD changes).
Instead of admitting the mistake DEVS keep doubling down and the result is a very boring, bland and uninteresting system.

If you'd revert to 1.4.8 with some tweaks on the glaring stuff, and start working from there, I'd be sold in a heartbeat, but pride and the time already spent wont ever allow for that to happen, would it?

Just my 2c. AMEN

Maybe it's time to admit that ROR isn't a PVP game anymore, but like many others MMO, it has that added feature. This way, developers can focus on PVE content, which they must enjoy because it's what they spend the most time on and are best at.
That at least honestly way to do with people

3 developers spend time on pve, because its what they are assigned to do, those 3 have more time than other developers that is why you see faster pve content. Comes down to passion, assignments and free time. Plus pve has been given tools like moonsharp handlers for lua and a map editor that make it to where you do not need a C# coder to change things. RvR requires C# coders which none of the pve team are.

As we evolve more C# is being moved over to lua so in instances like Scenarios you may see faster movement as changes wont take the focus of others

Is there any word on when we can expect these itemization patches to come through? Don't want to run LV, buy triumphant rings, etc. on multiple characters only to find them nerfed soon after.
Next patch in may will be jewelry and jewelry sets. The patch after that will be Armor and their Set bonuses.
Has there been any discussion of a gear-exchange mechanism for players who have spent crests on equipment that becomes obsolete? Would you recommend that players hold off on buying new sets until the patch? Lots of people have dinged 80 recently because of the labor day event (btw, thank you devs!), so it's an especially pertinent point at the moment. Sorry to harp on this, but the 15k crests in my WP's inventory are burning a hole in his pocket.

you can expect a exchange vendor set up for certain items if those items ever get changed that lets say would be a hot button, however to set up a vendor to exchange all gear, that would most likely not occur.

Some players have spent hundred of thousands on tri/vic gear and rings, when you nerf it into the ground don't you expect a serious backlash? Much much worse than the one you already had on weapons?
Still not understanding why rebalancing items is needed, apart from "math doesn't math".
