Stealth isn't guaranteed invisibility, other people have a chance to see you that IIRC is based on the difference in initiative scores. If someone passes their check to see you, they can attack you - but nobody else will see you until you are knocked out of stealth.

This particular part of the stealth mechanic is actually all kinds of **** atm. There are situations when people in parties yell about having a WH/WE sighted for upwards of 10 seconds, and we see they guy bashing away but stealth just doesn't break.

Actually I forget that you "could" see stealthed players, it happens so rarely to me

even in this rare occasion I'm usally to far away to attack anyway, or get "target out of range".

I tested once a full ini from renown build i saw every single one wh around xD

Stealth has a number of hidden modifiers as well. If you are standing still or if you are approaching from the sides or rear, the spot check is more difficult.

I'd definitely support reverting the defence checks to the live version. And then find some other way of reining in casters if necessary.
Another effect of the defence changes is that low level hero level mobs gain ridiculous amounts of parry. At least I assume that's the cause since it didn't happen before the change. A while back I was running some low level PQs on my DoK for fun and the bosses were parrying upwards of 80% of my attacks.

Afaik only attacks should cause AA, not damage ticks. This might have been overlooked.
Last I checked dots still make your character auto attack, even if detaunted.
So if you are ranged and detaunt a dot'd character. You will still auto attack them with your weapon,if they get close enough to you.
If youre melee and detaunt anyone dot'd, you will probably still auto attack as well. Canceling detaunt, because of the dot.

Yah running BL+conq setup for the 12 then added 9% with True Strike... still get disrupted 4-5 times in a row on healers with high willpower every now and then but the investment feels worth it in most cases.
