Never said zerging was balanced either. My point is that the game was designed for neither zerging nor duelling, so play the damn thing properly.

one of the big reason this game failed IMO... " My point is that the game was designed for neither zerging nor duelling" ...

"Properly" is completely subjective. Aside from organised 6v6, zerg was pretty much the mainstream of RvR. A game that intends to be completely revolving around PvP must incorporate all of its elements and appease (or attempt to) all types of pvper.

If a system is designed for one purpose alone, and someone attempts to put that system to use in a fashion for which it was not designed and in which it performs poorly, the word "properly" is not subjective.

The game died, and perhaps part of that is because the original design wasn't balanced for duelling and devolved into laggy zerg on zerg due to lack of incentive to break up zergs. I'm interested to know how same-faction duelling is going to solve any of that.

And that purpose was constant world pvp/rvr, in whatever guise that may be.
Dueling doesn't pertain to the greater picture, as I have previously mentioned. It never does. It does, however, allow people to while away the time whilst waiting for scenarios to pop, or out of boredom.

This discussion is irrelevant, as people will always duel (same-faction or not). Just because dueling doesn't affect/solve zergs doesn't negate from it being a fun way to pass the time, and fun is what all games should strive for.

-1 on duel game support (By all means feel free to kill eachother 1v1 in the lakes)

If you like wow play wow. If you want 1v1 there are plenty of games on the market. For me persenally it is the dueling community that I dont want with all the drama and epen
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

hurrdurr dueling, therefore he must play WoW.

protip: dueling is prevalent in most MMOs, and has been around long before WoW ever came to be.
you're probably a BW who tags along in WBs spamming AoE and consider that real PvP.

I don't like most MMOs or the communities of duelling centric games where you get lots of protips
