You screw with morale gain in this game and you screw with the overall ballance, it's that simple.
Weather if people like the concept of morales or not, it's deeply rooted in the core of the combat system, the faction ballances, the amount of HP people have, anti morales etz of this game.

Remaking the morale system and you basicly need to go back to 100% mirror on each faction and go from there.

I have a better sugestion. Add a bar with 4 transparent dots above the characters HP bar that fills up with blue colour as their morale rises and dots filled up at respective Morale Tiers. That way you can see what Morale opponents are reaching and can estimate better whats goin to happen before engaging or dropping your cooldowns etz.

I made a very hasty PS edit of how it could look (very rough)
You can clearly see that Bear is ready to drop Unshakeble Focus so you should probobly get out of melee range or use a CC on it.

I really like that suggestion. Because if your using morale drains on a opponent. You kinda want to know or feel the impact your having. Currently you can't really FEEL the impact. Your kinda just praying that its working.

Although... maybe we are not suppose to see the morale of other players from a meta perspective. I dunno. Haven't fully thought that out yet. Super interesting though.

No it isn't. The proof? People say morale gain is 3x slower on RoR than it was on live, and the server hasn't exploded yet.

Thats not reworking the morale system. Thats simply nerfing the morale gain. And that in it self has provoked tons of reactions here on the forums since rank 31+ was introduced. It might not have exploded the server but it has a major impact on the ballance. A rework of the mechanic how you gain morale in the first place. That would probobly give the explosive reaction you're looking for.

If you Devs really want to test it out. Id sugest this. Disable all the Morale Gaining tactics for 4 weeks. Then do another 4 weeks were morale gain is the 30M/Sec and Tactics as normal.
Then we have data from

10M/sec + Tactics
10M/Sec - Tactics
30M/Sec + Tactics

Imo the slower renown is actually a huge improvement vs Live as morale dumps isn't the bread and butter of ORVR on ROR.

Another big factor why I think it is superior is because KOTBs No Escape morale isn't available every 60s as it was on Live. That particular M3 is the best morale in the game, nothing else is even close and have a greater impact on RvR.

The only problem with No Escape is that it's on Kotbs instead of IB or SM.
And it's not imo atleast the best Morale in the game for ORVR. Uncleanseble healdebuffs kinda takes that imo.

Agree it should never have been put on the KOTBs secondly it really should have been a spec M4 (15pts)
