I don't care if someone is being mean, talking smack or whatever. If he's on my team, and I can heal him then I will.

loool , "COMMON GOAL" , "GREATER GOOD" , are we living on the same planet ? people only care about their self pleasure /accomplishment
Talk for yourself :P
People are generally good. Wanna example? There's no accomplishment/self pleasure in helping low lvl players with stalker's quests, yet they do.

When t4 will be implemented with the city sieges, all that DPS healers will marsh in an orderly manner right into the abyss. No one need them in the in the proper wb, moreover - at city siege. The WILL respec into the heal mode, or their destiny will be solo play. So let them be.

And that would be the fault of the person not being healed for being a ****. I heal because I like it. If you act like a **** you make me not enjoy healing as much and really dislike you, and if I don't like you I won't heal you (except as necessary when casting group-wide heals/effects). Same thing if I'm a DPS, if I don't like you I won't lift a finger to peel that dps off your ass, or my tank won't guard you even if you're the only player near me.

edit: as for when T4 and city sieges are implemented, yeah you won't be in my WBs as a DPS healer. You'll be expected to spec for the needs of the WB which is going to be a pure healer in 99% of cases, exceptions for DPS DoK's that can aid a melee train or other exceptional DPS healers that either outperform our designated DPS or we have way too many healers may be allowed on a case by case basis. (My guild did gkick people on several occasions for failing to follow similar simple instructions).

Do you even read what people are trying to say you?
"difference between the team winning and losing when both teams are evenly balanced" means you're not "punishing" the person you're not healing. It's a team game and you're screwing your whole team.

"Someone was mean to me so instead of using the ignore button, I will deny my team of victory" is just immature.

I will admit though that I occasionally do the same thing. I still usually heal people but if I'm tanking and your bum is going balls deeps into the enemy deeps... expect me to remove my guard from you and help our own backline. ;)
